The good reviews here are genuinely shocking. Never have I felt so dismissed in a medical setting. Jessica Atkinson was visibly annoyed the entire appointment and rushed to get it over with. I simply wanted help after suffering so long with migraines. Instead, I left in tears feeling entirely discouraged. I would caution anyone in need of a neurologist to please GO ELSEWHERE. I have since found a fantastic neuro that has outstanding bedside manner, is extremely educated, listens well, and actually wants to help!! Save yourself the time, money, and energy and look elsewhere.

Went for my sleep study weeks ago and was never told anything about it. Ms. Stokes never bothered to send the results of my sleep study to my primary doctor nor has she attempted to call me with the results. I guess I should get a second option with atrium and they will have a better sense of communication than Ms. Stokes.Very unprofessional will not recommend!

I went to this dr to test for sleep apnea and the Dr was extremely rude and displayed no interest in my issues. She asked me the questions on her computer and barely looked and me and did not seem interested in any of my issues. It was if she was a robot. I did the sleep study and after calling to get my results she sent me the results which said mild to moderate sleep apnea and i needed a cpap and she could order it. She gave me no other options and did not address any of my other sleep issues. My husband had the same situation. I can't believe this is the only sleep problem Dr we have here at Novant. Very disappointed .

They should just say they only help with sleep apnea. I went because I think I have a neurological problem causing my mental health problems and night terrors. They couldn't get me the actual sleep study and tried to get me a take home one but it seems useless because it seems like they are only looking for sleep apnea not what I actually have a problem with. They also boss you around. You are not in control of your own health here.

My experience at this location has caused me to find a new provider. I proactively checked in online for an appointment and waited in a line of other patients who were also checking in(After checking in online you still have to go to the front desk). This caused me to be 7 minutes behind and in this span of time when I finally got to the desk I was told I would need to reschedule an appointment I had to wait weeks for. I was advised I was late and that the appointments run together and that I need to be at the location 10-15 early in which I was and still not seen for my appointment.
