Dr. Jeffrey P. Baker and Emmanuelle Elizabeth Mitra Lavassani are horrible doctors who racially profiled my grandson's father accusing him of abusing has own child and then make matters worse called DSS and we had an open case on false allegations . She felt the matter was funny and he continued to make inappropriate words and remarks towards him. I would not recommended him or her. They were very unprofessional and rude. They have been seeing my grandson for over 15 months and never has there been any evidence or signs of abuse, they lied and said he never been diagnosed with eczema and he was the doctor to write the prescription for his eczema. The DSS case was closed within a week due to lack of evidence and the specialist basically laughing saying my grandson drools a lot which caused a skin irritation and bad eczema outbreak. If you want your child taken by these 2, I share DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR OFFICE!!!!!!!
We've always had excellent service here. Each time we come, Dr. Best is always attentive, kind and the epitome of a caring doctor. Her services are incredible. The nurses are always quite good as well. The front staff are okay and efficient. One negative is that it's hard to get in touch with the staff if you have an urgent need and you need to schedule your child's appointments as soon as they open up the schedule - e.g. if your child is born in March you'll need to call or schedule their well visits 3 months in advance.
I have only lived in the area 2 years and when I became pregnant I had no idea where to go for my little guy. I was recommended to this location. What is great about it, is it has affiliate offices that are open on the weekend (since this location is not). Our doctor is DR. JOSEPH JACKSON, I highly recommend him. He takes the time to really listen and answer your questions. He is never rushing me out the door and is very pleasant to work with. I gave it 4 stars because sometimes it takes a while to get in and out of the office.
We adore Dr. Best. She literally saved my infant daughter's life when no one else would listen to us that something was wrong. Turns out - something was VERY wrong, and it was only after Dr. Best saw us that she caught it. 2 weeks at Duke Hospital and an emergency surgery and our daughter is fine. She listened, she knew we knew our baby, and luckily SHE knew our baby well enough to know when she was acting odd. The staff is fantastic - I'm lucky we have such a wonderful care team behind our child.
I love the doctors and the nurses here but the check in staff are the rudest people I have ever ran across! I have been bringing my daughter here since her very first visit at a doctors office and I have yet to have a good check in without some check In employee having an attitude. Today I went in "didn't know they weren't a walk in, seeing that the after hours nurse told me to come" the check in lady was rude and unhelpful she was a petty rude. She rolled her eyes at me more than once but didn't think I saw it. If I could just have one nice check in experience this place would be rated more.
