Allina Clinic - Cottage Grove

Friendly. I had my 15 month old with me for a few moments because my mom had to use the bathroom and she was scared of the doctors because she’s recently had shots so she was fussy they were extremely understanding and welcoming . By the time my mom returned she was getting comfortable. I truly appreciate the atmosphere!

I’m still on the fence about my latest visit. Provider was fine and fulfilled the purpose however, the rooming staff was super unprofessional. They did not verify my identity, did not listen to my responses, slammed their pen on the desk and drawers on the bed. Every time I would answer the roomers question they would respond with “hah?!” as if they weren’t listening. Roomer was also very unkempt and not professional looking. There was also trash on the floor from the previous patient. I’m not sure that I will be back next year.

I had an appointment and I came on time as always. I was told that there is a one hour wait that turned into two hours wait. I wonder if I made an appointment and came one hour later over the schedule time if my doctor was able to see me probably not then why I am as a patient being treated that way this is a horrible organization. I will never recommend Allina to anybody.

Allina Executives need to be fired! There is no more focus on patient care. I saw the Dr today and needed to schedule a follow up lab appt. The first available was 8/26, due to outsourcing to Qwest Diagnostics. Are you kidding me, I’ve been a patient at CG Allina for over 50 years and never waited more than a day for a lab draw. Allina has outsourced their appointment line, the AI Bot that takes the info to get you to someone, doesn’t transfer and I need to repeat all the information. I bet the Executive's are lining their pockets while sacrificing access and patient care. I will no longer go to Allina, I’m looking for a new clinic and provider.

I have always been made to feel worthy.. important and my feelings matter and my voice heard. I don't feel rushed or hurried out the door. Dr. August is the best doctor I have ever had in my life. And her nursing staff absolutely amazing. Solid 10's all the way. From the moment I walk in the door the girls at the front desk are absolutely amazing! They make you feel your at home!!!
