Very friendly and accommodating staff. I have Multiple-chemical sensitivity and I can not be in the check-in desk space because of too much parfumes ect. But there is plenty of comfortable seating just outside the office in the corridor and the staff is willing to come get me there. Im also a daytime sleeper and they also are willing to accommodate me with the sleep over test by scheduling it for off hours in the daytime.
No idea what all the bad reviews are for. The provider Lisa Williams conducted the initial evaluation which was more like an enjoyable conversation with a lot of insightful questions and feedback. Tyson was super helpful and friendly with the sleep study and follow up. Friendly place, easy instructions, helpful results. Only complaint is that the sleep study equipment smelled heavily of other people's perfume/cologne and I live in a scent-free environment due to health reasons, so it was more noticeable and hard for me to ignore the scent. It would be nice if they had some sort of disposable case that they could put it inside since it gets used by many people. No other notes - I only dealt with nice, helpful people here.
The service was overall professional however the rigidness with the at home test return times make little sense and are difficult to work with as a working individual. I took time off work to pick up the sleep test and also the next morning to return it, as there was no other appointments available and I was informed all tests need to be returned the next day by 10am. I made the assumption that this was for data and test integrity reasons. This seems to not be the case after all. Upon returning the test I was told it didn't read well and it needs to be redone. I was not able to retest that day (Wednesday), because I couldn't get more time off work to return it before 10am the next day (Thurs). While working out the scheduling conflicts I was offered, the curtesy, to pick up the test Thurs. evening and then be allowed to mail it back (at my own cost) to be received Monday morning. So its clearly not that the test expires or becomes unreadable/unusable. Just that they only will accept tests back in the morning hours M-Th before 10am. This curtesy offer made it clear that I could feasibly take it home that morning and return it the next evening, and it would not harm the test data or results. The only issue was the rigid adherence to the clock, and the 10am return rule. I left the office thanking them for the offer and I fully plan to ask my primary care doctor for a new referral.
The Dr., Ryan that I saw was really nice. The office ladies are super abrupt and not empathetic at all. They really need to be coached/trained on how to deal with patients better. They have zero empathy or concern and are clearly just going through the motions. Don't go here unless you have to
I was referred here for a sleep study and was extremely pleased with their service. Sleep study went great and rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. Bed was a little too firm but literally the only tiny complaint I could have. Chris did my sleep study and was awesome. He made sure I understood everything and was well taken care of. Dr Coats was also great and explained things to me in simple terms. I got an ASV machine and the pressure was too high for me starting out and they immediately helped me with my issue. Definitely happy with their service all the way around. Thank you to the great team at Aspen Sleep Center!
