Look I feel so strongly about what im about to say that I literally have never posted a Google review before and this is my first ... Your staff has mostly always been amazing to me. I mean every business has their days where things aren't going well. But I had enough positive experiences with this office that I was happy to recommend you to a family member. That family member went through y'all the steps to get their referral to you from their primary and etc. I mean honestly they went through a lot of work to get the referral to you all BECAUSE of the things I had said. Okay Fast forward to that family member (FM for the rest of this post) ending up on the phone to schedule their appointment... I was actually with them in the car on Bluetooth when the conversation took place ... and I was so embarrassed by the woman who took care of this. Tameka or however you spell it. I don't want to go into all of the details amd I don't know how to describe it other than to say ... I know how to do the whole professionally rude thing. and so does tamekia . It was so fake nice and that became clear when her patience became thin with my elderly family member who had a hard time hearing. it was so heartbreaking and embarrassing to hear her be so rude in a passive aggressively polite way. I look at this office very differently now and will think long and hard before ever... EVER recommending you to another person every again. The only thing that is a saving grace kind of thing is that the FM is much older and acted as though they weren't hurt or offended my the agist way they were talked to. like they didn't catch on to what was happening. But then again that could be the saddest part because it could be that my FM was so embarrassed by it that they just pretended to not notice it. It's actually quite heartbreaking. please remember that you are representing an industry where people sometimes are running out of hope and you are quite literally dealing with people's LIVES! You are dealing with people that may be all out of hope and you are their last ditch effort to deal with something that's deeply personal to them. have a little patience if they don't seem like they are as quick thinking or able as you are.... they still have feelings and are already wore out with the healthcare system and catch on to a lot more of your sarcasm and rudeness than you realize they don't want to or mean to be an inconvenience to you they just want help. heartbreaking to even have to think about again. please remember what you do for a living is a huge part of our lives.... even if that is just scheduling something!
Loved Dr Geyer, very professional and honest. When I walked in office, the Afro American girl wast not friendly to patients at all. Non the less the girl on right was very nice and helpful. When checking out and being set up for sleep study, Kate Mccluskey was extremely helpful and professional and kind. Overall it was a nice experience!
The staff is very efficient and pleasant. Every time we come to the appointments we are seen in a timely manner, which is very important to us because we have an hour drive each way. My mother absolutely loves her Neurologist, Dr. Otero. He is very patient with her and includes her in the conversations and respects her wishes for treatment and tests.
Dr. Hogan is the best! I seen him for swelling on the brain and swelling behind the eyes my diagnosis was Papilledema. Him and his team been going out of their way to get me the proper treatment. Dr. Hogan I thank you and your team for everything! Especially for saving my vision. 🥹 this will be a long journey for me but I’m thankful for Alabama Neurology staff.
I just had my first appointment with Dr. Geyer. I am definitely happy with my visit. I can see why he has had so many positive reviews! First, he allowed me to be billed my copay because I didn’t have it. Then during the appointment he took time to talk to me and ask/answer the questions that he (as the doctor) think should be asked . He also seems to really care about how I am doing and how he can help make me better! I am actually excited about having him as one of my many different types of doctors and how he will help me in the future! If ANYONE needs to see a sleep doctor PLEASE go see Dr.Geyer at Alabama Neurology and Sleep Medicine!
