My service from Dr. Cuebas has been so bad that I have requested to be transferred to a different Sleep Center. From missed video appointments (missed by him) to refusing to fill out VA forms, as to the type and severity of sleep apnea that I have been diagnosed with. Also, I have a machine that is so out dated that it has a chip that cannot even be read by the system they now have. I wonder how they can know how well I am doing without having the history of my sleep patterns. Dr Cuebas refused to request an updated machine. After reading all of the reviews, I know it isn't just me!
I had a terrible experience trying to make a simple appointment. No wonder their rating is so low! My advice is to do a hard pass on this location.
I was very disappointed with my doctors appointment today. Even though I have trouble falling asleep, he was really trying to push doing a sleep study. I asked him if having sleep apnea would be keeping me from falling asleep, and he said no but still wanted me to do one. I did not feel good about my appointment at all when I left. ☹️
I arrived early as requested only to discover they had moved from the location I was told to go to. Once I discovered where their new office was, I was told they “only moved about two months ago” so the information hadn’t gotten out really. (I scheduled my appointment 3 weeks. Prior to my visit…) The front desk personnel were polite (hence one star and not zero) but not particularly helpful or communicative. The Nurse (Carla) was very snippy and had zero bed side manner. (I felt like I was on an episode of dragnet being asked for the facts and only the facts). Even though I was asked to be early, they made me wait in a room for a very very long time before I was seen. Then when the “doctor” did finally see me, he kept saying things like “well, I’m not an expert” and “other doctors know a lot more about this than me”. Not exactly the best way to endear a patient, in my opinion. I’m certain it did not meals me feel very comfortable. And after I got home and saw his notes from the visit there were so many errors and things that were never discussed that he made comments about. It’s as if he was just making it up or using the same notes from someone else’s visit. Recommend somewhere else if you have the option (I wasn’t given one). As for me, I most likely will be requesting a new doctor for this.
I have been going to this office for several years with no issues. The nurses and office staff are wonderful! I've always felt valued and like they truly listen. Not today. The new provider in the office invalidated my diagnosis before he even met me. He condescendingly informed me that he believed I was "just a night owl." Then, he recommended cognitive behavioral therapy that isn't even available in the area. His solution to lack of treatment options and years of sleep deprivation... Stop reading in bed and download a therapy app to retrain my body over the next few years. He made me feel like ten years of struggling to function is just all in my silly little lady brain.
