Nurses were nice doctor didn't care what I had to say and was extremely rude he acted like he knew everything in the world and acted like I was the dumbest person ever. I told him if prescribed me anything don't prescribe me anything that'll make me sleepy and what does he do prescribe me some that's gonna make me sleepy never coming back here worst doctor ever!!!!

Every time time I go to this hospital we always experience the worst service. Mostly waiting on nurses. Doctors do a great job at communicating, but with nurses it’s the opposite. Today, we were treated by Nurse Crystal, who was nice in the beginning. My fiancé fractured his knuckle a couple days ago. So we made the mistake of going to Putnam General Hospital. The consultation with the doctor and the X-ray went pretty quickly, and then when it came time to wrap his hand thats when it all went down hill. It was clear Nurse Crystal Had no idea what she was doing. She did not wet the fiberglass, the cast was to long, and when we asked her to trim it more she got an attitude. Aside from that, she “asked the doctor how it should be”, but when we asked him is this how he wanted it wrapped he said “absolutely not”, she came back and the other nurse, Ashley did it correctly. We were waiting for a really long time and my fiancé had to go up and ask for treatment twice, and she said “well we don’t go based on first come first serve” which is understandable, but it was taking an excessive amount of time to cast him INCORRECTLY at that. I’m very disappointed in the treatment she provided to us, and if we were to leave without asking if this is correct, then something worse could have happened to him. Thank you Doctor Lift and Nurse Ashley for your wonder service and care! Not to mention, there was an extra ACE bandage that was unused rolled onto the floor. She offered it to us, but why would we want to use a bandage that fell into the ground where people have bled or gotten sick on the that floor. Also, apparently he was supposed to be wrapped and discharged way before Nurse Crystal came to wrap his arm.

We are from out of state and arrived here on a Friday night. From the moment my mom was called back the treatment and staff were incredible. The young man that checked her in secured her a room to help keep her dignity and he even came to see her before he went home! I’ve never experienced care at this level!

The ER department is a joke. I had doctors there told me not to come back because they can't help me with my heart and with my non alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver. I had an doctor there even called me a liar. I won't recommend the ER department for no one. Take the extra time and go to St. Mary's. Worst hospital ever!!!!!
