I can echo many of the other reviews. I did not like that it was just myself and the technician in the office. Although he was very nice and very professional, it was unsettling. Also, the facility was not CLEAN! The bathroom wasn’t clean and the room was dusty. There was no remote for the tv—which isn’t a huge deal, but watching tv helps me go to sleep. All of these things just made the experience so uncomfortable. I will stress again that the technician was nice, and he was very professional. But the facility needs work and they should have more than one technician there!
This place has the most incompetent scheduling staff. Trying to schedule a pickup for sleep study equipments and apparently they only do it certain two days and certain times and will not accommodate anything outside of that. I was told I would either have to drive an hour and a half to another location or just take the day off work. Unfortunately most people cannot just take a day off work for a ten minute pickup appointment. They won’t let anyone else pick it up for you either. Terrible customer service and communication. I would highly recommend Piedmont Sleep instead.
Honestly, just close this location. Long story short, I just worked my entire day around getting to this location to pick up my equipment for a sleep study, only to find out they closed early, and might have never been here today at all. Good thing I’ve already paid, and they can’t see me again for another 2 months and offered no way to make this right. I work in Lawrenceville, and when I made this appointment back in May, I asked for the latest time possible to allow for travel. When I was running late today, I called the number listed for this location on my chart, which turned out to be the NGHS main line. They assured me it was fine, and that they were open until 5:30 pm. My appointment was at 3:00 pm, I got there at 3:40 pm and the office was empty with the door locked. I finally found a way to get in touch with an actual person at the Gainesville location, and she told me, “they leave at 11:30 am at that location.” This was corroborated by the folks in the adjoining office space who apologetically told me, “yeah, we don’t know when they work in that office. They’re never there, and this happens to people all the time. I haven’t seen anyone there today.” My only option was to reschedule, as it was apparently impossible to pick my equipment up from any other location. But their soonest appointment isn’t until August, 2 months from now. I’m beyond annoyed. Even if were there on time, no one was at the office for my appointment. I rearranged my whole day, and took time off work to have my time disrespected. And it’s that much more annoying because I’ve already paid for this. Also this location is really difficult to find, there is no signage from the road.
I gave up before even getting an appointment, the phone system is horrible and then when I finally figured out what option I needed it put me into another phone system that was even worse.
Don't go to the Braselton location. The location is secluded and the parking lot is dark. There was only 1 technician on duty. The bathroom is down the hall. It was creepy. I called management and complained. They have had previous complaints about this location. For the safety of the employee and the patient they at least need one other employee in staff. There was no way I received a good sleep study, I was too uncomfotlrtable.
