The Sleep Center of North Sunflower Medical Center

The ER is a joke! I waited for 3 hours for them to get me in the back take my vitals, ask a few questions to only have the doctor come in the room and tell me that there was nothing they could do for me and for me to go to the clinic down the side walk, that they could help me more than the ER could. This hospital is a JOKE and to have someone wait that long to hear there is nothing they can do for them, is unprofessional and rude! How are you going to deny someone treatment or tell them you can’t do anything for them? And mind you I have full coverage health insurance through the state. I WILL NOT and I mean WILL NOT recommend North Sunflower Medical Center in Ruleville, MS to anyone anymore!! I’m at the clinic now and they were even surprised by what the ER told me.

I feel it ever so appropriate to send a HUGE shout to the amazing staff at North Sunflower Medical Center and its affiliates. Over the past few months, I had been experiencing something that just wasn’t quite right in my chest and upper body. My sister Leigh Ann, spoke with Dr. Ryan Gary, cardiologist, and was able to get me in as a new patient. After my evaluation, Dr. Gary decided it best to conduct cardiac testing. Once he reviewed the results, he gave me a call. Not his nurse, or his staff, him, the doctor, to give me the results. The Jackson Heart Clinic-Ruleville, is amazing. The day following the communication of the results, I was having chest pains again, so I decided to go to Sunflower Rural Health Clinic. I saw Dr. Rothin Reddy. His staff performed tests and discovered that I was actually having a heart attack (He found very elevated levels of cardiac enzymes). Dr. Reddy then sent me over the North Sunflower Medical Center Emergency Room. Dr. Lamberto Cosue and his staff, including Ruth Ann Luciano, wasted no time attending to my needs. They were nothing short of amazing. They made me feel very calm even though the situation was pretty serious and they all knew I was pretty nervous. Dr. Cosue was able to get my vitals stabilized and wasted no time sending me by ambulance to St. Dominic’s in Jackson. This isn’t my opinion, this is a fact when I say North Sunflower Medical Center is top notch, I am living proof. I am forever grateful to everyone that came to my aid. Bless all of you and keep doing what you’re doing. If I left any names out I apologize, but everyone there was simply amazing and honestly, they probably saved my life. #takemetoruleville

This is for emergency department. I have went there twice, once couple of years ago and Wednesday August 13 3025, afternoon. The receptionist was very nice professional, she deserves a raise! The security guard very nice and helpful and was concerned about me. She deserves a raise. As for the unprofessional, bad attitude and just all around bad vibe dr an nurse that very briefly asked me couple questions they certainly dont deserve a raise or any kind of praise. Both visits to that God awful emergency department, was same nurse and dr. I went to Clarksdale emergency department and the level of care and compassion was off the charts! Take to Ruleville only not to emergency dept. Ruleville do better! Also really don't think the one star is deserved.

I visited the Ruleville after hours clinic 5/9/25! I will never again Step foot in that place! The receptionist were very nice. I was put in a room the only patient there. Robert Cox NP was working that night he came to the door and stood to with his hand on the door facing! Never set foot on my room! I was in severe pain all he kept saying to me was they didn’t have any narcotics, I told him I did ask him for narcotics I just wanted to be sure I wasn’t dying! I said I’m having severe pain in my stomach and my BP is 187/140 am I having a heart attack, he told the CNA to check my vitals BP was down a little and once again he told me they didn’t have any narcotics ! The nurse gave me a shot. They drew my blood snd sent me on my way’ doctor never came In the room to examine me! But today I get a bill for $500. They can take his portion off I didn’t see him in my room! The next day I went to St, Domenic had several test run had 2 bad ulcers was treat very good by a doctor didn’t get any narcotics and left there feeling much better! After they took care of me half the day! The days of take me to Ruleville is just a thing of the past not what it used to be at all so sad for Ruleville! Take me to Jackson!!!

I truly loved going to see Dean Seeley. Unfortunately NSMC billing practices are in my opinion atrocious. Bills way after the date of service, sending my bills to another customer and then receiving a notice for court on past due bills, which I had reversed. Take me anywhere but to Ruleville.
