I think just generally, north oaks as a whole, their hospital campus, their ER, even their specialty care, are just trained to dismiss patients. I’ve never had a personal good experience or heard of a family member or friend having one. I’m not sure if this is mostly due to a tight budget, but I don’t think it costs much at all to be a good physician who listens and doesn’t deem every symptom as normal… this puts pressure on every neighboring medical facility, as they have to pick the slack up. Sometimes it seriously is a major health issue going undiagnosed until you find another facility to take you seriously.
The staff is very helpful, doctors were informative and explained everything that was happening to my husband with a great attitude. We were very happy with the care and treatment. We will not go to any other hospital ER. This one had been the best care of all other local hospitals we have been to since my husbsnds illness began.
I just have to share how thankful I am for the night nurses in labor and delivery. On November 28th , I came into the hospital feeling scared, overwhelmed, and so unsure of what was about to happen. But from the moment I met Laura, the charge nurse, Nicole, McKinney my RN, and my incredible midwife Amy, I felt a sense of calm and reassurance I didn’t think was possible. They held my hand, answered all my questions (even the same ones I asked a hundred times!), and reassured me every time fear crept in. Their calm voices, patience, and genuine care made me feel safe and supported when I felt completely vulnerable. Because of them, what started as one of the scariest moments of my life became one of the most beautiful and empowering experiences. They weren’t just caring for me they were caring for my baby and for my heart. I will forever be grateful for the comfort, strength, and love they gave me on the day I met my little one. They truly are angels, and I’ll never forget them.
My husband went to the ER for severe abdominal pain. The ER staff was awesome. They did not hesitate to start doing the necessary test on him. My husband was admitted to Observation for 5 days The hospital Doctor Jenson and the staff were sooo nice and professional. Dr Jenson made sure he ordered all the necessary test on my husband. Dr Jenson had an amazing smile, we knew we were in good hands. My daughter and I stayed in the room for the whole time plus two days In take, The nurses made us feel comfortable. First time ever being a hospital where the Doctor and the nurses were amazing. The ladies Shay and Lainie was polite. I don't care what anybody says about this Hospital. My husband came here in extreme pain and left feeling awesome. 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
This hospital doesn't go above and beyond for their patients. I've personally experienced why I've heard terrible things about this hospital. That experience occurred the day my mother passed. When "proir" to her passing, that day, I received a call from the nurse. She said, mom had been moved out of her room. And moved to the "old section of the hospital." After jotting the info down I went to take a shower so I could get up there to visit mom. Within the hour I received a call from the nurse, stating mom had passed. When I arrived at the hospital, I couldn't find anyone to help me nor to locate mom. No one knew where my mom was. Her move was not recorded so she couldn't be found. After some time I was able to find mom. On a floor with no other patients and no staff. They moved mom there to let her die, alone! I was distraught. When we left I made the call to the funeral home so they knew it was time to pick mom up. I was informed by the funeral home, "they were not able to pick mom up" a long pause and then she said "Ms. Beverly, they lost your mom." That following evening they found mom in the same room where she had been brought to the morning prior. No staff, no patients. The worst experience of my life. I felt as I failed my mom. This is my experience! I have others, not enough space.
