I can't recommend that someone goes here in good faith. I received my referral and April, and was not able to take my at home test until August. They had entirely forgotten about me. I spent probably 15+ hours on the phone with this center, and my insurance, because the center 'could not get in contact with my insurance', until I had my final in-patient sleep study. After 6 months and $700 I was told by the Dr to just try taking Melatonin. A specific issue was totally ignored. An issue I brought up along every step of the way, that the Dr. did not seem aware of.
I would give zero stars if I could. A doctor referred me to this sleep center on December 1, 2023. They have been waiting for precertification from my insurance provider. It has been one day short of three months and still no precertification, so I called the precertification department of my insurance provider and they immediately located the referral but could not explained why it had not been reviewed yet. They are going to expedite it and fax this sleep center in 3-5 days they said. The sleep center personnel do not call the insurance providers to check on the status of the precertification but they need to. After three months, this is totally unprofessional and unsatisfactory. Why did they wait three months with no follow-up?? I needed to have a sleep study done months ago. They need to obtain the precertification numbers for ALL the insurance providers they deal with.
Dr Schriner is very knowledgeable and caring. He will work with you to help get prescription covered by your insurance & at a reasonable price. I have been going to him for several years and highly recommend him..
took a take home test...took three weeks to get results back only to tell me I have to retake...fine but I have to wait another 20 days...all the while I'm going to sleep every night with the thought I might not wake up because I stop breathing....I know its business but 2 months to get diagnosed for a c pap machine...
