I am a disabled veteran, I go here for checkups and some Dr's appointments. For major issues, I catch the shuttle bus to the New Orleans VA Hospital from here. Photography and videos are prohibited by federal law on the property.
I absolutely love the staff and care I receive from the Louisiana VA. I keep seeing all of the negativity that seems to be expressed due to one specific situation, but I can say if there was a bad situation that I have had someone was there to correct it immediately. I absolutely appreciate all of my providers and how they have been able to accomplish more than any of the other states VA's that I have received care from. Thank you for all of your hard work that you do day in and day out. Just remember to stay awesome!
I have been to quite a few different VA facilities throughout different states and so far the Louisiana VA has been nothing but amazing and has helped me in a number of positive ways. Honestly they are the reason me and my family stay in Louisiana otherwise we would have moved anywhere else but here. Thank you for everything, I appreciate all the help I have received and the staff are nothing but welcoming and friendly.
Despite my primary care doctor and her staff being outstanding, the VA as a whole sucks. Marcus does a great job upfront. Other than that. There are so many ways in which the VA drops the ball. As far as I am concerned, it is best to rely on God rather than man
Wow. my hearing aid had stopped working and I called for an appointment. They told me to just come to the walk in clinic any morning. I arrived the next day, expecting hours of waiting, and instead I was in and out of the entire building in 17 minutes!! The reception told me to go to area C and by the time I had walked back there, the hearing aid technician was calling my name. He cleaned and adjusted my aids and told me i was eligible for another complete exam since it had been over 3 years since my first. Went to the scheduling person and she set me up for a new hearing exam the very next week and possibly new aids. All that and I was walking back to my car in 17 minutes from arriving. Great service indeed! I salute you workers for a great job.
