Dr. Bell-Sambataro is excellent. Friendly, easy to talk to, and extremely thorough. She goes through the explanation of tests results until you feel comfortable in understanding the information. Her bedside manner is top notch for both the patient and the parent.

Tampa facility is great. Love how it understands just how important it is to have parents involved in their kids health and therapy. I've experienced several aspects and departments of this facility and everyone is amazing. Those who have interacted directly with my children over the years have always bent over backwards to make them feel comfortable and always leave them with that sparkle of excitement and joy in their eyes. One year they had a Santa and gifts for the kids and were just so generous and kind not only with my kids but myself and I'll never forget that touching day. I still have the pics of us with Santa. Even the guard is super friendly. From cardiac to speech and some in between, they've always left me sure that as long as we have the need to come there, that's the only place we'll go!

Check-in is a little different from what I am used to. After going to the security check, I was told to sit down and wait. I waited for 5 minutes in a waiting room before I was called to be checked in. Still had to file paperwork even though this was all required of me before I came through the MyChart app. Despite this unusual check-in process, the staff was all polite and courteous. Jordan, for the physical therapy, was amazing. She was very understanding of how my daughter reacts to doctor's visits and handled this visit with great care. She was able to complete the entire evaluation, which is huge since my daughter refused to finish TGH's evaluation last year. We were very satisfied with our visit, and we are so grateful she was so kind to our daughter. Very happy with the services at St. John Hopkins

We had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Amanda and her team during a circumcision consultation for our newborn. The nurses and staff was great and friendly. From the beginning, both the doctor and her assistants were rude and seemed completely indifferent—not only to us as parents but also to our baby. It felt like we were just another number, not a family seeking care for a sensitive procedure. Dr. Amanda explained that if we didn’t get the procedure scheduled within a few days, we’d have to wait until our baby was older and undergo general anesthesia. That seemed completely unnecessary and risky, and added a lot of stress. Scheduling was a whole ordeal—we were told to contact someone else who would then need to coordinate with Tampa General Hospital the appointment. We called the same day, and the person we spoke with promised a call back the next day or by Monday. It’s now Tuesday and we’ve heard nothing. The lack of communication and empathy really stood out. I would not recommend this office for circumcisions or any care that requires compassion and responsiveness. Very disappointed.
