I've been with Dr. Hoffman for a number of years. He's always taken good care of me. Now my husband sees him as well. I'm sad to hear his office will be closing this year! Such a awesome person & doctor.

I just really love Dr. Hofmann and his staff because they're very professional at all times, and that at his office visits are some of the shortest visits I have. Also, Dr. Hofmann always listens to all of my concerns and he's very funny at times with some of his responses. And for me, that makes my day!!!

Cannot say enough positive things about Apex! Dr Hofmann has an excellent bedside manner- very professional yet personable. He, and all of his staff, listen closely to what the patient says. They genuinely care about their patients, and it shows in every aspect of how they provide care. They are courteous, prompt in responding, and very knowledgeable. Trish will answer all your questions and never seems even remotely impatient about it. For those that have a trauma history and may be avoiding a sleep study for that reason, this is definitely the place you want to be treated! They are trauma-informed and will amaze you with how sensitive they are to your needs. Unlike some medical providers who try to intimidate their patients or use scare tactics to try to force compliance, Apex focuses on encouragement and education in a kind and honest way to help patients want to improve their health willingly. They understand that stress makes illness worse, but having hope makes a huge difference! If you have an overnight sleep study, hope you get Sherita- she is amazing, and you will feel like you're staying over at a family member's home rather than going through a medical procedure. There are not enough good things to say about Dr. Hofmann and the entire staff. I am overweight and scheduled an appointment because I know I snore and my lack of quality of sleep was affecting my life. I scheduled an appointment to talk to Dr. Hofmann and voice my desire for a sleep study. Like most people before a medical appointment (especially with a new doctor/practice), I was nervous. The second I walked in, I was at ease. The front desk employee was so sweet. I didn't have a long wait at all until I was called back to a room. The medical assistant/nurse was a joy. She got my medical history and then Dr. Hofmann came in to discuss everything with me. He is the BEST. I could tell right away he is very intelligent, especially when it comes to this medical specialty. He made me feel so at ease and did not make me feel less than...which as my fellow overweight patients can attest to, some physicians look at us like we are nothing because we weigh more. He actually had me laughing so hard a few times. He left the room and the assistant/nurse came back in to give me a breathing assessment, and then I was free to go. It was a very thorough visit but the time went by quickly. There was very little wait time where I was sitting around waiting on someone. After my initial visit, I had 2 sleep studies. Sleep studies are obviously uncomfortable. You are sleeping in a strange place with equipment all over your body/head, and someone is watching & listening the entire time. Sherita was the tech both times and to call her an angel on earth would be an understatement. I actually requested her for my 2nd study because I trusted her 100000%. She is so sweet and genuine and understanding about the entire sleep study process. She wants to make sure you are comfortable and feel safe. Warning: you may leave the next morning feeling like you made a friend!! As far as times between appointments...My first appointment with the practice was in September and by the end of the year I will have my bipap. So within just 3 months that is 3 visits and a guarantee to have my machine that will change my life. To summarize...if you want to attend a practice that has an amazing, caring doctor and the best support staff you would trust your life with...do not hesitate to make an appointment.

My experience with this facility and it's people has been impeccable. I have been very well taken care of by everyone there from Dr. Hoffman to the sweet respiratory therapist who did my sleep study. I've had much better care than I EVER received at AMERICAN SLEEP MEDICINE on Kirby Parkway. Highly recommend.
