Dr John has changed my life. For over 10 years I woke up at least 2-3 times a night and was constantly fatigued. Honestly I was quite desperate as sleep deprivation was impacting every area of my life. My primary doctor originally referred me to Sleep Centers of Middle Tennessee where I had an absolutely awful experience. I was having a hard time adjusting to my CPAP machine and they were unresponsive or dismissive of my struggles. It got so bad I returned my CPAP machine and decided I would never go back again. Thankfully, my wife encouraged me to find another sleep doctor and that’s when I found Dr. John. Dr. John was patient with me, listened without judgement and reassured me that it wasn’t the CPAP machine that was the problem; it was simply settings that needed to be adjusted and that he was confident I would be able to sleep comfortably. I received my new machine a week ago and have slept better than I have since I was a teenager. I’m more productive as a business owner, more present for my family and have energy to play with my kids again. I feel like I have my life back again and would highly recommend Dr. John to anyone who struggles with sleep issues.
Dr. John is very caring and knowledgeable. I am very glad that Dr. David Turner recommended him to me. My life will be greatly improved when my apnea is treated. I highly recommend Dr. John.
Had a mixed experience here. Dr. John is a very nice and kind person. Regarding his care, I do not feel as though I was helped at all. Upon taking an at home test, I was told that I likely had sleep apnea and that I would need to take an overnight in-patient test so that I could be prescribed a CPAP machine. However, Dr. John then told me that the results from the overnight test showed that I do not have sleep apnea. The only reason I agreed to take the overnight test was based on his recommendation. He then did not have a viable recommendation to help improve my sleep and simply said that I need to stop sleeping on my back. So after spending $1,000 for the in-patient test and several more hundreds of dollars for his visits, I was released with no actual plan when I am still struggling for sleep and absolutely no results after a few months of visits.
Dr John is fantastic!!! He is very kind and explains things very clearly He helped me get my life back! The at home sleep test was very easy, and the process was easy. There was only a few minute wait for my appointment at both visits. Dr John really gets to know his patients and celebrates the victories with them. I’ve already recommended three of my friends to him!
Grateful for Dr. John! My wife had noticed my snoring and at times breathing issues while sleeping and encouraged me to find a sleep specialist. I was able to find Dr. John through a recommendation from my dentist and I am so glad I did! Dr. John issued me a sleep test and I was diagnosed with sleep apnea which can be dangerous if left untreated. I am about to start using a prescribed CPAP machine and I am grateful to Dr. John. I really enjoyed visiting with him and how thorough he was in explaining my diagnosis. I highly recommend him if you are struggling with sleep issues or snoring.
