It makes no sense to wait 3 months for an appointment when someone is suffering with unnormal headaches to just be told your blood pressure is 160/90 but we are going to just give you some headache meds to try and be on your way?? Im no doctor but dont you think the high blood pressure is the cause of the unnormal headaches?? What a waist of time and money.
This was the rudest receptionist I have ever encountered in my life. I ended up walking out without seeing the doctor at all. I will find another neurologist which is ashamed. I heard the doctor is very sweet.
Staff was very kind and Dr.Olga was so kind and so thorough! She took so much time to listen and then explained everything so well to me. One of the best experiences!
I am not one to write reviews that much; however, I could not miss the opportunity to give gratitude and praise where it is due. I was referred to Dr. Bogdonva by my PCP. I have been on quite the medical adventure and another medical provider added to my journey was not out of the norm. I could write a book on the simplicity and compassion from the first point of contact to see you in xxx. So many medical providers focus on the next person instead of the one in front of them (I understand there is a greater need...) and we all know how that feels and where it leads. Dr. Bogdonva IS THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE! Both she and her nurse took the time to ask questions and have a conversation in the mix seeking clarity and ensuring the next steps were what was best for me and not just what was best for the medical percentages. The front desk check in provided a smile and hospitality. I have test scheduled with reasons provided and next steps for a treatment plan. I am thankful is an understatement. I would rather bring a book and wait to give my time to a team that is focused on working with their patients instead of being in and out with someone that I need to tell my story to again every visit and honestly does not even know my name. Thank you once again. (If you are looking for a reason you will always find a complaint. No one is perfect. I encourage you to reach out, seek a referral, or even transfer if you feel you are just another number on the chart. You will be thankful you did.)
The Dr was very attentive, and listened to all of my concerns. She ordered 3 tests that I need, and recognized possible issues immediately. Though 2 of the tests have to be done at other locations, but I am just thankful to have gotten my foot in the door. The girl at the front desk was an absolute sweetheart, but I'm not fond of the woman who gave me my appointment card. She seemed very indifferent, and wasn't concerned about me being confused about appointments, and such. I've seen quite a few reviews about a rude receptionist, and I'm wondering if that's who they are referencing. I've heard Dr. B is the best In Etowah County, so I'm really hoping so. She seemed great my first visit.
