I had successful colon cancer surgery at Watson Clinic but not before I had to vigorously complain several times and change the course of my surgery. Chemotherapy was planned after I had stated I did not want it. But the tumor was not planned to be removed until I had had a colostomy bag inserted and several rounds of chemo administered. I would not have known these things before surgery, only after surgery and it would have been too late then.
Don't have a lot of money? Don't go here. Their billing system is fixed at at least 10% of your total bill, every month, no exceptions. That means if your total bills come out to 1299, you're paying 120 a month. They will not work with you on the price. Also, their doctors were always having me come in for no reason, just to get a payday.
To me Watson Clinic is amazing. I followed my doctor, Dr. Sandeep Viswanath, Rhuematologist from Melbourne to Watson Clinic. I can't possibly begin to say enough good things about the Clinic and Doctor Viswanath and his care team. When I send messages via My Chart to Marilou with questions she gets right back to me. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be escorted to the exam room. Dr. Viswanath is thorough and takes time to explain everything. He cares, and listens. He's the best doctor I have ever had. Watson Clinic offers many areas of expertise. Everyone is kind and helpful. The lab is very efficient and I've never waited long. I highly recommend Watson Clinic for any of your medical needs.
I have shared my experience with your new Dr. Coming in on monday, Regarding your Urology Department, and Marty Pickard Now regarding the Watson Clinic.In the past 6 years I have not had one Dr at LRMC do anything right. I switched to a PPO from CarePlus to Humana. You are the most organized medical center I have ever been to. And imagine in about two weeks Ive had the best care possible. As Joe's Courier I have been in health care 26 years, transporting medical patients. And totally and fully understand the health care system. However, i dont understand why surveys are outsourced and the questions never get to anything related to efficiency. From the perspective of by by CT the patient.
All my doctors are great but the level of the customers service is lacking and unprofessional in the business department. To be told a patient should have never been given appointments over a small balance is not the problem of the patient. It’s an internal issue not the customers fault. Next time I am hospitalized I’ll make sure to ask the doctor if they are from Watson clinic because I can’t be treated over a balance.
