I started the process on November 29th. Today is December 29th and I still don’t have my cpap machine. The whole process is a nightmare. I did the at home sleep test which was simple. I was asked by the nurse not to call the next day for my results. I didn’t and I never got my results until weeks later when I called for them. They were never put into my patient portal. I finally got the results and found a local place to get my machine and now I have to wait another week to see a therapist to go over my machine before I can use it. If I could do this all over again I would use an online practice and get my test and machine through them. It would’ve saved me about three weeks of wasted time and probably much cheaper.

I called Murray Sleep and Pulmonology to ask why I could not go to the Sleep Doctor's side specifically to see Dr. Korsen. I go to Murray Medical and am even a patient on the Pulmonology side. I need to get sleep studies done again and I used to see Dr. Korsen. The nurse was extremely rude, so I was back. I asked several times to speak to the manager, in which I was transferred to Jana the Office manager there. She said I was referred to go to Paducah because I missed too many appointments. I said I did not miss any appointments. I even took pictures of myself in her office and during sleep studies plenty of times. She proceeded to list off 8 different dates ranging from 2015-2019. That was two years after I had already moved to Colorado (2018-2019). She proceeded to tell me a wrong number that was sent in text messages. She could not even tell me what the text message even says, but she could tell me that the text message itself does not tell them back if we approve or not. It only "confirms" to them that it is a valid phone number, and that the text was received by that number. Even though it was not my phone number. They say they care for the people; then why couldn't they see the error in the system to forgive and move forward? It makes no sense whatsoever to now must go to Paducah, even further, when I do not have the means to be able to do this. I am a single mother and must be back in time to get my youngest son from school. Jana refused to let me speak with the Doctor, refused to give me my information I had asked for (what specific dates I missed so I could contest them) she proceeded to tell me there is no way to contest them. The Doctor has made her decision. I retorted “With false information and a flawed system”. I then asked her how she could be the office manager if she was this terrible with handling patients and she hung up on me. I have since tried calling repeatedly and I assume my number is being screened somehow because they refuse to answer for the Neurology side. I feel as if I have been targeted and I would like to have some sort of reprieve. I work hard to attend all my appointments, and I understand it is frustrating to have them made and missed. However, in this case, it is simply unjustified.

The staff was great. From checking in, to the questionnaire to get the information needed to do a study. They do offer in home and hospital studies... I did the in home cause it was cheaper. Checking in with the hospital, was quick, and the tech going over the equipment was great... In and out in less than 30 minutes... I recommend them to anyone needing this done... I had a awesome experience... Unfortunately. I did end having to have CPAP machine... I got one through Clarksville at Home Medical Products... The lady there answered all my questions and that was a awesome experience as well....
