I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. From the first visit to date, the staff have over accommodated my husband who was diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnea. They prioritized him every step of the way. From the front desk to the clinician to the nurses, a resounding 10 across the board. Thank you for helping us so much and for being so supportive and pleasant in spite of my many calls!
The office needs to seriously consider replacing the person doing their scheduling. She is rude and when I told her I didn't want their "damn" system spam email/texting me, she told me, "I'm a Christian woman" and I shouldn't be swearing at her. Since when is "damn" a swear word and I didn't swear "at her", but at their machine and it's spam policy. Regardless...after reading the other reviews, this place will never have my business and she is a huge part of that.
Traditionally, services at Keeton have been acceptable, however, recently it has been awful. My visit was re-scheduled twice, then, upon arriving at my appointment(40 minutes away through icy roads), I am met with a locked door. I received a confirmation text yesterday morning, in the middle of a snow storm, confirming my appointment today. I call the office, I am met by a machine explaining that the offices are closed because of the inclement weather that I drove through to be here on time. Now, if I pull a no call no show to my appointment, I will be charged for a missed appointment, however I’m sure they won’t do so much as wave my deductible if and when I finally see someone on my 3rd rescheduled visit. All of the scheduling seems to come out of one central office for multiple locations and the left hand doesn’t seem to know what the right hand is doing. Well, I guess I’ll start the 40 minute drive home through the ice and snow.
Got a referral from my PCP for a sleep study here. They called me to schedule an appointment. I made it for 4:20pm so that I could still get in most of my day at work. They called me the day before my appointment to ASK me if I could come in earlier because they had cancellations. I politely declined because I didn't want to have to leave work earlier. Then they called me the DAY OF my appointment to TELL me that they moved my appointment up and if I couldn't make that time then I would just have to reschedule. Like...ok. That was rude and unprofessional, but ok. So I rearranged my whole day so I could still make the appointment. Went in, the staff was rude. The nurse practitioner was nice enough, but that didn't make up for anything else. So we scheduled my sleep study for the next night at 10pm. Then they call me today (day of my appointment) to tell me that they have to cancel because there is not a sleep tech there tonight. I am at work so I couldn't answer the call but checked the voicemail they left. They have now called me 3 times in the last 2 hours. Not even going to try and reschedule my sleep study. Just going to go somewhere else. They are unprofessional, rude, and apparently don't communicate with each other when scheduling. Would give 0 stars if I could. Don't go here.
After my second sleep study and first use of a CPAP machine, I experienced quite a bit of discomfort in my throat and sinuses, as well as a lot of pressure in my upper chest and neck the following day. Feeling that it was due to what I think was was hours of an extraordinary amount of high pressured dry air blowing into my mouth and nose, enough to make it difficult to exhale, I wanted some assurance that what I was feeling was somewhat normal, or at least something I didn't need to be alarmed about. I left 2 messages for a nurse over the course of a few hours, as well as speaking to an operator, who assured me that a nurse would call me "this afternoon". Unfortunately for me, that did not happen. I am disappointed that I was not able to speak to someone and very dissatisfied with your lack of following up of someone who had left your care only hours beforehand. I will inform the VA of the neglect I have experienced and you will not be seeing me again Keeton Clinic.
