St. Francis Sleep Disorders Center

Terrible. Single track minded organization focused on their next sleep apnea diagnosis without trying to understand more complex sleep issues in patients. When the only tool you have is a CPAP machine every patient looks like they have sleep apnea. Interacting with staff felt like being in some corporate dystopian nightmare and not a healthcare facility attempting to solve my health issue.

A totally horrible and dysfunctional run practice! Impossible to schedule or communicate with. No one ever answers the phone system and even when messages are left no one returns the calls! I’ve tried resolving issues for over a week and it’s impossible to reach anyone by phone or MyChart. The lead time to get in is atrocious, scheduling is a nightmare and even the follow up appointments linger for months. Go to Greenville Sleep Center in Greer. They answer the phone and have great scheduling options.

Do NOT use the sleep center at St Francis downtown. I had a sleep study done Nov 3, 2024. 7 weeks later and they still haven't given me the test results. I have called them numerous times and they tell me the same thing every time, which is call again next week. They just keep giving me the run around. If you need a sleep study, go somewhere else!!!!

They don't give you information when the set you up for a sleep study like how long you'll be there, to bring food, or anything else you may need to know. When I went for the sleep study the bed sheets were dirty and the "new sheets" they brought me were dirty as well. Finding the room without assistance is near impossible since the signage is terrible. Billing gave me the run around for days with mixed information, canceled my appointment and rescheduled it without consulting me, only for me to find out that it was an issue for my doctor to handle not me. I call to check if my appointment later could be done over the phone since I live 30min away and it was just to check on medicine. Instead of checking or offering to ask a 10second question the lady was more then willing to just cancel my appointment. They never call my cell phone despite it being my primary number . They only called it once I told them to delete my house phone from the account. This place is honestly not worth it. I'd rather take my chances falling asleep randomly while driving and whatever else.

so far we have been greeted on the phone with a very rude lady. Stating that appointments are hard to get and got rude when I asked about the cancellation list. The lady answering phones and making appointments needs to understand there is a level of customer service skills she needs to improve on if she is to deal with the public, especially at a doctors office.
