DO NOT GO HERE. They canceled on my husband and then marked as a no show and told us we can no longer go to the clinic after waiting a year for an appointment. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE.
Please don't waste your time here! I've been trying to get approved for the Inspire implant, and it's been over two years now that this has been going on, and I still can't be seen.. They will sometimes call you months in advance to reschedule, or sometimes the same day. Getting seen here is like winning the lottery. All my doctors are through UF Health, so I wanted to use the sleep center, but I'll be dead before I get into this practice.
Have been waiting to see a provider (Elizabeth Courtney Wilhem) for months. My appointment kept getting rescheduled due to “unexpected scheduling conflicts”… not really sure how we can see conflicts months in advance but whatever. This happened multiple times, MONTHS in advance of my appointment. I got a new letter today stating that they cancelled my appointment and will not be rescheduling. I called to figure out why they canceled and they said they are cancelling all new patient appointments, regardless of how long you’ve been on the books. I’ve had my appointment rescheduled 3 times and now completely cancelled. I could have see a different provider a long time ago. My advice is to go somewhere else and don’t waste months of your time.
Before you book an appointment, please read!! I initially planned to wait on the issue, but after several months without a response, I hoped this could serve as a precaution for others. October 2024 - The front desk staff was very friendly, however I am currently facing financial complications. My appointment (the time I was at the clinic) was around 30 minutes, however I was charged 63 minutes for $827. I planned to submit proof of how long I was at the clinic (saying that they could check the cameras too), but they claimed that I am being charged for face to face and non face to face time (even after checkout). I have yet received an explanation regarding what took place during the additional 33 minutes, despite other employees offering assistance. I will keep you informed as I learn more. Please note that this was just the initial consultation where I was speaking about my personal experience. No tests, scans, or advice was given with mostly me speaking. The physician did take notes and ask to rate my symptoms on a scale. I can't imagine how much more the following appointments would have cost if this is just for the initial appointment. I wish I was told the estimated price and how things were charged earlier. I have been to many medical appointments and I do not pay nearly that amount. I would have looked around to other locations. If this is something you can not pay out of pocket, please make sure that your insurance can cover it.
I love the waiting room! Staff is friendly and love the doctor. Very professional and friendly staff. Office us not over crowded, masks being worn, checking temps and screening those coming in.
