One star for the front desk lady. Zero for the unprofessionalism of this clinic. They will make your second appointment far into the future and refuse to release results even to your doctor when they request it. It is your right to access any medical information regarding yourself in a timely manner. I recommend utilizing hippa as I have to inform them of your right to your information and to afterward report them for their coercion into a second appointment and refusal to give me my documents.❤️ no response needed unless I should post the screen shots.
I’ve had amazing experiences with this office. I always receive a call back, even after hours. My sleep study is ent just fine and they have been attentive to my needs.
This place is a joke. Drive the 5 extra miles and go to the Advent health sleep study. You'll be much happier, and they don't require keeping your credit card on file. If there's ever a data breach....... I immediately went home and reported it as a lost card, so they DO NOT have my card number on file.
Chalk up another dissatisfied (and health-abused) patient. After my sleep study, I went in, as scheduled, to get my results. I was notified that a brand new policy meant I needed to put a credit card on file, even though I'm a VA-covered patient (the VA told me I should *NEVER* have to do this, and were shocked I was even asked). The front desk told me it's because the VA was too slow and/or sometimes didn't pay in full, so my CC was to cover the difference/ensure it was paid. I balked and left, without my results. I wasn't about to give them a blank check that they could cash any time they felt the VA was being too slow. The VA got me in for an in-house sleep consult, and the VA Doc called Mountain Sleep to get the results, since, you know, they paid for the sleep study. MOUNTAIN SLEEP REFUSED TO PROVIDE MY HEALTH RECORDS OR RESULTS TO THE VA UNLESS I CAME IN, GAVE THEM MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER, AND THEY COULD CHARGE FOR THE VISIT!!!! My VA doc was also appalled, and became clearly angry that they wouldn't give the results to him. They essentially held my health ransom (why I said "health-abused"), and I had to do a whole new sleep study through the VA. They seem to only care about the money and patient health is secondary. Just read the other reviews. They just called me today to ask me (months later) if I'd like to reschedule to come in to get my results. They may have this new policy about putting a card on file, but I hope they can see that their new policy is only driving their already questionable reputation lower. I doubt they care, though. If you have a health issue, they get your money and you don't have many other choices. For what it's worth, I don't know how they'd even know if someone used burner card to put on file, just in case. --- (This review is my interpretation of what happened from my perspective, based on my personal experience. I was told by the Dr. here almost certainly had sleep apnea and should do the home test. I did. Somehow, despite being awake and literally writing down notes most of the night, on my follow up visit, I was told by a PA? that I snore and offered ZERO suggestions for any help with sleeping. I paid my bills using my HSA card at their office, paying the balance they gave me. Almost a year later, I get a bill with a "balance forward", no explanation, and a vague threat that they'll turn it over to a collection agency. Funny enough, my husband also got a new bill that he is arguing with them about because he has proof that it was paid. The quality of this place does not warrant the headache that you will have dealing with them. If you have a choice, go somewhere else.
