Shelly was my nurse last night and she made my whole experience from start to finish stress free. She explained everything in detail and was so attentive and kind. You can tell she is very good at her job and cares about her patients. I truly believe I had the best experience because of her!!!!
Been to this location on several different occasions. Staff is always friendly and take great care of you. Other than dealing with the equipment it's almost like being on vacation. The rooms are comfortable and pleasant and the check in process is quick and efficient.
I would go anywhere but here to have a sleep study done. Most sleep studies give u an actual bed but here you get a crappy hospital bed I had to stay the night with my grandma because she is blind the chair bed mattress is like a inch of foam and the sheets they bought me had stains on them. This place is outdated and disgusting and for the price of these studies you would think they would have better standards. Motel 6 hospital with Hyatt prices.
GET A QUOTE FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First of all, all of the staff were great and professional. The facility was clean and as comfortable as possible. However, I was not expecting the bill. I should have asked, I learned my lesson. The average out of pocket expenses in SC to deliver a baby at the hospital is $1352. I was billed over $13,000 for my sleep study. My out of pocket expense was $3500, only because that was the yearly maximum for my insurance. I went to my doctor and they recommended a sleep study. I agreed and had it scheduled. I was naive and had no idea that a test could cost that much. I would expect something like this for surgery, but not a test. My mistake, but hopefully my experience and great expense can help others avoid something like this or at least plan. I would have never gone had I known. However, all the staff were wonderful and professional. And the Financial Services department did not lessen the amount owed, but did allow me to work out a payment plan that is interest free. So all around, the service was great, but had I known the costs associated, I would have been able to better financially plan.
