I am a dentist, and I had a very disappointing experience at this sleep center. If this is how they treat a fellow healthcare professional, I can only imagine how other patients are treated. When I first called to schedule my study, they claimed they didn’t have my authorization on file even though I had a copy of it in hand. They refused to accept it, saying it “could be fraudulent.” Why would I waste my time creating a fake authorization for a medical test? Instead, they insisted it had to come directly from my provider, which delayed the process. When I finally had my study done, they performed the wrong one. I needed an ASV study, but they put me through a CPAP study instead. Not only was it one of the most uncomfortable nights I’ve ever had, but using the wrong type of study can actually make central apnea worse and delay proper treatment. Even the tech admitted she was concerned several times and almost stopped the test. Because of their mistake, I had to repeat the study. They told me I wouldn’t be charged for the second one, but then they tried to bill me twice anyway. On top of that, every time I dealt with Gary he was unprofessional and rude. The facility itself is also very outdated and does not inspire confidence. I would not recommend this sleep center to anyone.
My first time having a sleep study done. I highly recommend this place. I didn't know that to expect but the technician was extremely pleasant and put my mind at ease. She is very attentive and very professional. No need to be anxious if you have to go this place to have sleep study completed.
The staff at this location have been awesome. I have never been treated as nicely as professionally as this place. The even offer you juice either before you go to bed or when you wake up n the morning. My only qualm is that I wish they would switch out the mattresses for Tempur-Pedic hybrid mattresses as they feel a bit firm for my liking. Overall, the facilities are extremely clean
This was my third sleep study and it was by far the most relaxed and comfortable. The staff was wonderful!
I had my sleep steady here at The Florida Center of Sleep Medicine and Ms. Beth was the person who take care of me. She was very helpful and made me feel like I was home by making sure I got and had everything I needed. She was very nice and great customer service. I would definitely recommend for anyone to come here and get a sleep study test done you won't be disappointed.
