Worst hospital in SC. Patients with serious injuries lying around for 6, 7 or more hours and still no doctor. I don't care how busy you are, you know you should be fully staffed with adequate doctors, especially when delays in treatment cause further damage. I have no idea where they get any good ratings. I've had so many times when they were completely negligent and uncaring that my own health was compromised more. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!
My ED visit was amazing! From the front desk, to triage, nurses, respiratory and physicians! I was treat quickly and with the upmost care. I have asthma and things can change quickly. I am very grateful to everyone at LMC. Thank you
I have never been to a hospital this big in my life. I had no idea I would be escorted to the exact location I needed to be at. It did take me a while to realize what was happening so I was a but unnerved for no good reason as I found it to be a great service!! I surly would have gotten lost and had added stress prior to surgery. Every single person was absolutely amazing from registration, pathology, nurses, anesthesiologist, and my wonderful doctor, Dr. Skinner. I am forever thankful for each of you.
1) They will schedule you 3 hrs prior to your surgery so you can come in just to wait. I was told this is hospital policy. I could’ve worked half a day but instead I got to sit in a waiting room for hours while waiting for my husband to even be called to the back. 2) I went to try to see a provider in this network. I had to reschedule and I was told I had medical debt (which isn’t on my chart) that I was unaware of…. they claim I had debts from 5 a 7 years ago I needed to pay. This is outside the statute of limitations for medical debt collection. (Again I was in aware these even existed).
Recently stayed here with my mother. Unfortunately the experience wasn’t great. Although we did have some very caring staff, there were some that were very strange, and I plan to take this further than just a review. The 4th floor is where my mother was treated. A nurse named Nate is who concerned me the most. He was very emotional about my mother not wanting to take additional medications, outside of what her doctor prescribed. He became visibly upset and angered, to the point that I had to ask him if he was ok. After that we didn’t see him again. In addition, my mother’s doctor Dr. CHING NGO on the 4th floor unit gave her the wrong medication. Even after she refused, and I advised them that she was very sensitive to medications. She was sick the entire day as a result, then he had the audacity to attempt to BLAME her for his mistake. Very questionable behavior. Nate the nurse came off as an Angel of death, attempting to force medications on people & Dr.Ngo was completely negligent. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because Haylee on the 4th floor was a pretty cool. The rest was no good. Wouldn’t return.
