I’ve been a patient at Florida Neurological Center for about four months, and my experience has been excellent. The staff is friendly and professional, even in a fast-paced environment. While phone calls can be challenging due to their busy schedule, email communication works well—they respond in a timely manner. Dr. Kim is attentive and always takes the time to answer my questions thoroughly. I’ve never had any issues and will continue to trust FNC for my care.

One of the best neurologist treatment centers I have worked with. I am a veteran who received care around the world and I would choose this office again if I had to. Dr. Kim is very straight forward and to the point with treatment and care. If you get a sleep study done with them it is like a mini hotel stay and the technicians that set up the sleep study are kind and patient with you as you get set up. I have battled insomnia most of my life until receiving being treated here, now I sleep like a baby.

PLEASE READ AND BEWARE! If I could give this place zero stars I would. I have been battling with this doctor’s office for months with “insurance issues” I have sleep apnea and possibly narcolepsy. The doctor Says he sent in a request to my insurance company to have the testing done. The insurance company denied it and he said he could not appeal it which is a lie, I contacted the insurance company. The reason why they denied it is because he did not say it was medically necessary, and he did not give details to why I needed it done. I went up to the office, spoke to the lady that handles the insurance department and she said she was going to appeal it, I later found out that they never even tried to appeal it and they never tried to fix the mistakes. I am literally running on barely any sleep. This is someone’s health and life that they are playing with. I have mentioned to him multiple times I stopped breathing in my sleep several times a night. Not only that my phone records every phone call and this man keeps pushing for me to pay cash for the sleep study he even offered me a discount. Now, why would I pay cash for something that my insurance will cover? Let that sink in. I spoke to him again today after months of trying to get a hold of them, he did not care what I had to say. His exact words were “I am not gonna waste my time on this if you want to pay cash, you can pay cash“ What kind of doctor treats somebody like this? And I am not the only person that has gone through it either I have spoken to other individuals that go here and they’re always trying to get out of pocket money, By telling you that your insurance will not cover it. When in fact, if you actually call your insurance company, they will email you the whole transcript of everything. They will tell you what they cover and don’t cover and they will also tell you why they deny a procedure, something as an easy fix like rewarding it, are putting that it’s medically necessary, are actually putting down the symptoms that’s the individual is going through. I would advise everybody to find a new neurologist. This man does not care about people. He does not care about your health. He does not care about what you are going through physically or mentally the only thing that this man cares about is trying to pocket your money. I felt like I was talking to a salesman when I was having my doctor appointment over the phone. I have never had a doctor. Tell me oh your insurance won’t cover this procedure but if you pay cash today, I’ll knock off $200. !!??? And I can almost guarantee you that he is taking advantage of probably 60% of the people that go to him. And the fact that they have a sign at the desk that says please rate us is so ironic.!! I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, I have saved, every phone call, every transcript that was sent in and sent out from my insurance company to this office And much more. And I will be turning all of this over. . this is considered patient abandonment and I will be reporting him also to the State licensing medical board! This is also considered Medical health Or insurance fraud.! Please beware of Dr. Kim and this office.

Dr.lance Kim is very unprofessional and so are people in the office he never returns calls they never return calls he has horrible bedside manner doesn't give you your full results does not give you a moment to ask questions doesn't give you a choice or a say in anything he doesn't do regular follow ups and me and my mom are very unsatisfied I'll be looking for another neurologist and she understands why because she knows he doesn't care about my epilepsy and getting it back under control he just is hoping to find something else wrong with me. He doesn't care about getting me better.

As a military veteran, I was referred to Florida Neurological Center by the VA for treatment, specifically for neck injections that had already been approved and authorized by the VA, with payment fully covered by the military. What I experienced instead was months of delays, poor communication, and ultimately, outright refusal of care. Dr. Lance Kim was directly involved in this failure. Despite clear documentation from the VA, he and his office repeatedly stalled the process, never providing a clear reason for the delays or refusal. At every turn, I was met with resistance and indifference. The front office staff were especially rude and dismissive, showing zero regard for my time, my service, or the pain I was dealing with. For months, I was jerked around and misled—wasting valuable time I could’ve spent getting proper treatment elsewhere. Dr. Kim and his team failed to uphold even the most basic standard of care and professionalism. As a veteran, I expected at least a minimal level of respect and competence. I received neither. I strongly discourage other veterans—and anyone, frankly—from seeking care at this clinic. You deserve providers who will advocate for your health, not ones who obstruct it.
