I have been living in the Chester area for approximately 5 years now and every time I've been to the emergency room here I have been treated with dignity and the wait time was very short and received excellent care
I did not receive the treatment I needed. The doctor was not concerned with my health and did not do proper tests or examination to even try to help me. This visit will probably cost me a $1000 for nothing. There is no sense going to this hospital. I recommend utilizing other hospitals in area because the doctors don't care and you'll end up in Lancaster or Rock Hill anyhow.
Had wonderful experience.Dr and nurses professional and courteous. Test explained results told in timely manner. Food provided as I was here all day. Transferred to another hospital for further observation

They sent my son out yesterday taking about the flu and ran NO other tests even though he hasn't kept anything down in days. We are now in Piedmont this morning because he is throwing up blood now. The staff here does not do anything for anyone. I've seen it first hand several times. They don't care about you. Litigation on the way because I refuse to pay a bill where you did NOTHING and you will also be paying this new bill to piedmont medical center as well. How the State allows a Medical University to "practice" on patients is wild to me.
Ok so my primary Dr had to refer my husband to an orthopedist in Chester because of none taking our insurance (tricare) in our immediate area. He had hip replacement surgery in this hospital. I don’t have a problem with any people here… except for the fact that they go about doing their work as of nothing is wrong and everything is ok. NOTHING about this place is ok! It’s absolutely disgusting. I stayed with him through his recovery and would keep waking up after 1 hour ish naps and shocked that it was real and we were still here. I could go on about things, but there are so many that I don’t know where to start… or if it will ever end! Just be vigilant if you have to come here for any reason. It’s so filthy that it’s potentially dangerous!
