Specialty Center

I have been personally attending the cancer center since 2013, and the staff has been amazing. However, I recently started going with my father-in-law. Everything has been great UNTIL, a discrepancy within the scheduling/secretary. I called for two days to try and get an appointment date, as they have been calling the WRONG number. My number has been the primary for two years. They recently had a computer change and it changed the information. We worked through that, after it was complete I spoke with Cindy for scheduling. She had an issue from the start and informed his son was with him at the last appointment and it seems she heard something about the primary being changed intentionally. I explained if it was, it wasn’t done by him or family, because I was there with them as well and I was his POA. She informed I raked 3 people over the coals, and the only person I had spoken to was the secretary. I think someone has their priorities messed up, and instead of listening to their co-worker without knowing what was said, try to listen to the families and care-givers.

I started going to the cancer center in August of 2020,and every time I walk in that place I just feel like I'm part of a family. I can't say enough about all the comfort and just pure love and care that they gave me through my battle!

I am currently a paitent at Commonwealth Cancer Center. From day one they have treated me here. The staff, Doctors, location, treatment to the actual facility are incredible. They are very professional, but at the sametime they make you ferl like your family. Unlike Lexington where it seems like your just a number and they just herd folks thru, not at Commonwealth Cancer Center. The level of expertise i put up against any group of Dr's in Lexington or Louisville.

Been coming here for almost 3 years with my mom dx with terminal rectal cancer...got to know most of the workers...the brunette receptionist is the sweetest ...but I must say the place is Always a FILTHY MESS!! You wpuld think they could afford house cleaning or even a vaccum. .all the pts here suffer with low immunity system and hanging out in this facility for 3 hours every visit...they are bound to get sick from these disgusting conditions!! The girls in the back taking vital signs,blood ect...let me come back to share in my mother's experiences...and other MAs wont let me back and it pisses me off!! How can it be right then wrong every other week??? The private chemo treatment rooms are nice but extremely dirty and the bathrooms are deplorable!! Whats the reason for coffee grinds in the window of the bathroom?? They cant afford Lysol spray!!?? Any time you complain of anything...the staff gets a power kick and in defense mode and says you ate being rude..makes excuses and then finally tells you to talk to their boss!! I wish my mom would go to a better place!!!!

I was a patient of a few of the oncologist at the Commonwealth Cancer Center and Danville. I had numerous obstacles over the past two years that I had to overcome on my own. When I did try to get back and get my health in check to make certain that I would live long and happy life with my two beautiful daughters I was only told that I would receive a dismissal letter because I missed an appointment. So if this tells you anything about the care, Of these doctors, not all but the ones that I have saw I would suggest Harley going to someone who would actually care about your life rather than their payment and their wallet
