I was happy make use of the app to fill out all the new patient intake forms so I didn’t have to waste time filling out paperwork when I first arrived. Once taken back, Dr. Gerry was thorough in the exam and attentive to my symptoms and concerns. He took time to ask questions and provide answers. I’m very happy to have found SCENT and I would recommend this practice to family and friends.
Congenial staff and Dr Guerry was patient and polite. Listened to all of my complications.
The staff and Ms Carey is always courteous to me. They listen and not just overtalk you. Thank you all for being their for me with my treatment
I was referred by the ER department to the Orangeburg clinic. When I got here they couldn’t accept walk-ins, but they helped me schedule an appointment at a closer location to me. Front desk answered all my questions and was very helpful.
Initially, I left a very positive review. I largely stand by it, but this is a cautionary tale. I was a new patient in May 2024. I came in for an opinion and an antibiotic for a seemingly infected area near the parotid gland. The doctor was very gracious. He quickly saw me, examined my cheek, then referred me to Charleston MUSC for a work up on a possible abscess. After a 12hr ER visit and two follow ups, the 2nd antibiotic they prescribed worked. I also learned that I do not have cancer, but I do have a 13k bill pending alongside the bill for the Orangeburg visit. That was a costly lesson for me. Some things just aren’t necessary, but it’s impossible to know on the spot. Doctors do not make recommendations w/ the cost in mind so you will need too. Be prepared. Their job is to treat, possibly refer, so have a plan before you go. I wish “I” had insisted on an antibiotic and waited for pre-approval, but over all the SC ENT was a positive experience. It’s not their fault that things cost what they cost.
