Margaret “Annie” Lee, DNP was one of the worst providers I have ever encountered. I felt completely dismissed and unheard during my visit. She attempted to order tests that were irrelevant to my symptoms, and when I respectfully questioned how those tests related to my concerns, her demeanor immediately changed. She became rude, had the front desk issue me a refund, and later sent a certified letter stating that Colonial could no longer provide care for me. I had no intention of returning anyway. I went to the ER afterward and received proper care along with the correct testing for my condition. The contrast in care was shocking. The way I was treated felt discriminatory and deeply unprofessional. No patient should be made to feel dismissed or pushed out for advocating for themselves. I strongly recommend choosing a different provider if you have the option.
I'd give 0 stars if possible ..took my boyfriend in for a follow up after a stay in the hospital this is his primary care dr btw. He went in and were seeing a new dr . Dr Chung . We explain why we're here and what the Dr at the hospital told us to do. Hes on 2 meds and needs a mood stabilizer this is considered mental health . This Dr the whole time we're explain thinks his issues are funny and is basically laughing in his face about his symptoms. My boyfriend said and in tears at this point why are you laughing im here for help for my mental state and your sitting there laughing at me and my serious situation. This Dr then says well you can see a different dr and leaves the room . Were sitting waiting for another dr to come im only to be a nurse saying this is a no charge visit and well be escorted out .. we're both sitting there jaws dropped and we're like what why . We were not loud or yelling we just wanted some help for someone's mental state . She leaves to find out why . We decided now this is definitely not the right dr for us and we walked out and said just that ..a dr laughing at a patient that clearly needed and wanted help is not a place we want care at . Also he has been going here for over 3 years . And we're self pay no insurance . Went to get my refund and the could not reverse the charge and said they'd mail me a check. Also this was only Dr Chung we're complaining about ..front desk super friendly and the nurse that got us to the room very professional. I also am a patient here well now a former patient . DOCTORS ARE SUPPOSE TO HELP AND LISTEN TO YOU AND YOUR PROBLEMS NOT LAUGH AT YOU ...I AM LUCKY MY BOYFRIEND IS NOT SUICIDAL OR IN A MENTAL STATE THAT HE WOULD DO HARM BECAUSE THIS DOCTOR WAS A JOKE . I HOPE NO ONE ELSE HAS TO BE LAUGHED AT BECAUSE THEY WAY HE FELT AFTER WE LEFT WAS NOT GOOD HE WAS IN TEARS A 45 YEAR OLD MAN WHO JUST WANTED TO BE HELPED AFTER A STAY AT THE HOSPITAL WHICH WAS A SERIOUS CONDITION AS WELL.
I bought my mom to this urgent care today in sumter sc. My mom had a heart rate of 35. The Dr outz let my mom walk out of that urgent care with that low heart rate. No ekg. No concern about the heart rate, nothing. I even asked him if he was gonna let her leave with that low heart rate. He said it will be fine. Ok so I took my mom to er and now she is in ICU. I am encouraging people please be aware. This is not ok. And what I do from here, I just got to think about. My mom coded in the er and ended up getting a pace maker to keep her heart going. She should have left that urgent care in an ambulance with immediate care. We took her to prisma health Tuomey er and they were amazing. They were on top of this situation really quick, no delays anywhere. Thank GOD for people who really care

What happened to HIPAA? Privacy Act. The office procedure need to be changed: The receptionist at the window asked me my name, date of birth, address, telephone number, and the reason why I am here in-front of all these people waiting. They all heard my personal private information. Hopefully, someone doesn’t steal my identity, post my information on FB, or stalk/harass me. Maybe have a short form to fill. Overall great service! Quick and precise. The receptionist was very nice and showed concerned. The nurse practitioner was good too.
