My husband and I stayed at the Bardmoor sleep center. Tony was our nurse and was exceptional. We couldn't have had a better experience.

The facility is clean, bathrooms and bedrooms were clean. Staff was professional. The first room the TV didn't work at all. I told them I cannot sleep without the tv for noise and low light. They moved me to another room where the tv worked. At least for a while, after tossing and turning for hours i got up to go to the bathroom around 2:30am. Got settled back into bed and about 10 - 15 Mins later the tv went black and stopped working. The cable box was working just not the tv. I tried for a few min to get it to work and gave up. I'm glad i brought a long charging cable i plugged my phone in and turned on Youtube TV. The sheets were scratchy, they definitely were hospital quality sheets and blanket. I finally kicked them off and that's when i finally fell asleep. The bed was not comfortable. I've done a sleep study at another facility years ago. That place the bedroom was like staying in a high end hotel room, soft sheets, comfy comforter. This was no where close to that. After my first experience I expected the same or better setup since sleep studies have become so common place and technology has gotten better. I'm just hoping they got enough hours of me sleeping so they can adjust my settings of my cpap so it fits better.

The absolute worst place to have a sleep study performed! And I’ve had 12 studies over the last 30+ years. Including, what I thought, were some improperly administered tests. This review isn’t even accounting for the 4 months it took for BayCare[less] to schedule the procedure. There was construction going on in the adjacent suite that shared a wall with the headboard of my bed. If you enjoy the soothing noise&vibrations from a hammer drill- this might be your place. If you want to sleep during your sleep study- go literally ANYWHERE else. They are still making me pay them the ~$900 for being put through this traumatic experience because the underpaid and unconcerned sleep tech didn’t stop the test. Smells like fraud to me. But of course I’m too tired to fight them so they get to have all the money I set aside for medical expenses this year. Now insurance is relying on a faulty study to deny my claims for ongoing care. The damage to my health over the next couple years can’t be calculated. If you’re referred here by your doctor- run away. Would have been better off not even trying.

I had an overnight sleep study done in the Baycare Sleep Disorders Center at the Bardmoor facility in Largo. Everything was efficient and professional. A very clean and comfortable environment and thank you to Stephen for answering all of my questions and making the testing so easy.

Contrary to previous somewhat negative reviews my experience at the Morton Plant Bardmoor Sleep Center was outstanding. The room was clean with a TV and the restroom spotless - I've been in much worse motel rooms. But the added benefit was having Kevin, a great sleep study technician. He was most knowledge (I learned a lot about the whole sleep study process) in additional to being a very caring person. I'd also throw in Estaban the young man handling the administrative duties in getting me signed up (Medicare coverage, etc.). All in all, not the most enjoyable experience of having to wake up at 6am, but well worth the benefit I expect to gain once the doctor analyzes the results.
