Had a home sleep study. They told me my insurance didn’t cover anything so I had to pay out of packet. A month later I got a letter from my insurance and realized they overcharged me. Now, I keep trying to reach out to them for a reimbursement but they don’t answer

They are supposed to be open 9am it is now 931 and no one is here. I drove an hour to drop off the equipment and have been waiting over 30 minutes for them to open. This is ridiculous and horrible customer service.

I had a great experience here. Mike and his staff are caring and compassionate and wonderful. I slept better than I have in longer than I can even remember at the sleep study. Plus a really quick turn around on getting my cpap. I have been sleeping so much better. Thank you!

Mike went well out of his way to get me what I needed. He made me feel like family and not just a customer. Will recommend him to eveyone I know.

2 things you can learn from this review: 1) There is no need to go in for a sleep study. Just buy the equipment online and save yourself a pile of money. More information at tthe bottom of the review. 2) If your are not confident enough in buying it yourself, make sure you know the full cost before going in. There are tests requires two visits and you will be billed for both separately. 3) Don't go to Amory for your sleep study. I went to Amory for a sleep study at a time when funds were low. I asked what is what going to cost me because, well, I needed to have the funds available to cover it. I gave them my insurance information beforehand. I got quoted a price, told I needed to pay it before the test, which I did, and got the first test. Then I was told I had to go in again, no mention of additional costs, and no requirement of a payment before this second test. All is fine, get my mask and machine, pay another company (Cooney Medical) for several months to pay this off. 2 years go by and I get a bill from Amory saying that I owe four hundred dollars and change, and if I dont respond in a week they are taking me to court....great company. After following up with their billing people, and admittedly being angry, their staff told me that it is not their problem, they have a job to do. I asked to speak with the owner (Mike Amory). Clearly this company is having financial problems as the owner called me back within an hour and stated that he apologizes for the issue, admits that he had some bad staff members, they screwed up, but the fact of the matter is that I do owe them the money. I disagree obviously. I was never told about the costs, and then there were additional costs. I get that things are tricky with insurance deductibles and all that, but nevertheless they quoted me a price and it was double. Mike would not budge off his number. I owe him the money or else I am going to court, and he explained to me that he has already had conversations with the magistrate who told him he will win. This will cost me $150 additional. All in, this has cost me $1700 our of pocket. Do yourself a favor, just go buy the Dream Station CPAP machine online for $600. The mask and hose will be another $100. It comes with an app to set it. If you are still snoring you need to turn the pressure up....no sleep study required.
