I have to put some positive vibes out. April Gahafer the office manager is absolutely amazing. She has always went above and beyond to help me and my mother. I give the office 10 stars!
Front desk is super friendly and made me feel very comfortable, but that's as far as the positives go. The doctor is a total quack. He claimed that my recent diagnosis by a Psychologist was incorrect and that I was likely narcoleptic instead (I am absolutely not narcoleptic). He wanted me to do their $400 overnight sleep study just to make sure. After having the process explained to me in depth, i can safely say the sleep study done here is setting you up to show enough symptoms that they can milk you for as much money as they can get out of you.
I honestly wouldn’t take my dog here. I had the sleep study and was called with my results. They scheduled me 2 weeks out to come back and spend another night to get fitted for my CPap. I showed up at 7:30 in the evening as instructed only to learn that my insurance wouldn’t cover the 2nd night. NO ONE BOTHERED TO CALL AND TELL ME THIS!!! Now I have to wait until next week to try to schedule someone to come to my house. Hopefully I don’t stroke out while they take their sweet time. No compassion or caring that I haven’t had a nights sleep in years!!!! They are obviously only in this for the insurance money. Go somewhere that actually cares about the individual and not just the pay out.
This was a horrible experience. HUGE SCAM. I saw the physician and he ordered a sleep study. The beds were hard and crunchy, there is no wi-fi and reception was awful (how do you have people spend the night and not have wi-fi?), and everything is in desperate need of a remodel. The bathroom was clean, and there were no bedbugs, so that was the positive I took from this experience (the tech was nice too). In the morning, they scheduled another sleep study to fit me with a C-pap and said if the Dr. determined I didn't need the c-pap, they would call and cancel. They didn't. So I reached out a few days before to make sure I actually need it, and they said, "No, you don't have sleep apnea," and cancelled my appointment. That was it. No results, no "let's see what the dr recommends," etc. So I called back again and they said that they could send me the report, I just had to email them to show that it's okay to release the record over email. So I did and got my report. Here's my takeaway... If you don't have sleep apnea, they couldn't care less about your sleep issues. Go somewhere that wants to help you, this place doesn't. By the way, the determined amount I agreed to pay prior to the sleep study was $84. I paid it, and now I received a bill for another $43.83.
