Childrens Sleep Laboratory is an AASM-accredited sleep center located in Jacksonville, FL. The clinic specializes in home sleep testing, in-lab sleep testing (Polysomnography), and sleep medicine consultation. Very clean and spacious facility. The staff were all so kind and gentle. My child woke up in the middle of the night crying and tense, and they came right away to check on him and comfort him. Everyone was so caring and patient. We truly appreciate how attentive they were — highly recommend!
The sleep study itself may have a 2 month out schedule but it is worth it! The place is big but everyone is friendly and helped us get to the location of where my daughter was getting her study completed. The rooms were as close to being a room they would have at home. It was very big a spacious. The tech was very kind even though my daughter was very scared at first and cried throughout the explanation of the process. She made the process fun for her while putting on all the wires. We woke up early, got all the wires off, there was no ripping hairs off, just soaked them and they came right off. They provided a meal voucher for me and my daughter. Overall a very good experience for kids to get a sleep study done!
It was easy to find and once we got past registration, we went straight to the 7th floor and it was right in front of the sleep center. You do have to push the intercom button and wait for a nurse to enter the center. We had Mrs. Wendy and she was phenomenal with my son. The room was spacious. We had a bathroom with shower and toilet, and I did have a separate bed close to my son's bed. My son took his study like a champ and better than what I thought he would. My only issue was the room was very cold and I had a hard time sleeping because I was freezing even with 3 covers on me. I'll just be sure to pack better if we ever have to return to this center. Be sure to bring a jacket and sweats! Now we're waiting on results. Thank you Baptist/Wolfsons sleep center!
Very comfortable setting. Gave a hotel vibe. Very clean and the tech Wendy was so pleasant to have. She gave step by step instructions on what she was doing and was so gentle with little one. We even had conversations like we knew each other😀. Definitely recommended 👌🏾
