The staff and Dr. we're nice, and the Dr. took the time to answer my questions. The issue was that we waited over an hour before we even saw the Dr., and I was told that is common for that location (PSL). They also did not have WIFI, a TV on, and I don't remember seeing any toys for the kids. Little children having to wait over an hour with nothing to entertain them is a recipe for unhappy kiddos and unhappy parents. More importantly, most people (especially parents of small children) feel like their time is as valuable as anyone else's. I do my best to avoid offices that make people with appointments wait that long. It's poor management and unnecessary. Their response to this review that this is not common for them seems disingenuous since it was a staff member that told me at that location they were always over booking because they make more money that way. I also read several other reviews of parents that had the exact same experience - waiting over an hour to be seen. So it certainly seems like it is common and not just an emergency that ran long. Again, proper management could fix this problem. I've gone to several doctors over my lifetime that almost never made me wait for more than 10 or 15 minutes so it's clearly possible.
The staff is very professional. They work so well with the kids. My son does not like any sort of doctor's visit. He always get very frantic since he's been a new born; he's now two years old and still has a meltdown. They have so much patience, understanding and are not forceful to get their job done while he's like that. They do everything in their power to make my toddler comfortable (converses with him softly, offer toys, lollipop, have him lay on mommy, etc) during his visit. Highly recommend.
My visit with my son at you'll facilitate. What's great? It always is Bonnie. Albert is the best. We love her and I can't say nothing but good things about her and the staff as well. That is there too I enjoy it. When I go there she Explains everything To me that I do not understand and she texts her time a wonderful woman, wonderful staff.
Dr. Michael Light was amazing. Our son has autism and he was so great with him. He had patience and was so kind. I usually get anxiety taking our son to a new place for appts and I felt no anxiety at all. He knew exactly what was going on with our son. Prescribed a new medicine and told us exactly what to do when our son had any flare-ups. Wait time wasn't too long. The front desk ladies were also amazing. Very kind and one even called me to inform me that she forgot to give me back my license and insurance cards. She waited after for me after they had closed for me to pick them up. I would definitely recommend Dr. Michael Light and this location.
Great medical care! The staff is so friendly from beginning to end! We finally have my daughters asthma under control and well managed. Bonnie spends too much time with us and goes over everything thoroughly and interacts with my daughter. My daughter loves her! Highly recommend!
