Complete waist of time and money the Dr had his mind made up the first day I saw him that I needed a c-pap I guess maybe his brother sells them or something. Don't waist your time and money.

Where to begin? The medical staff is solid. We appreciated Dr Murray and the staff who attended my loved one during their sleep study. But god bless. The scheduling is a nightmare. It took months to get in for the sleep study. Understandable though inconvenient. BUT they won’t give you the results without a secondary appointment. Copay for the first appointment. Expensive sleep study you have to wait 8+weeks for. Then ANOTHER copayment to get the results MONTHS after the study because you HAVE to meet in person and the doctors want to see their own patients. We scheduled a telehealth appt. The doctor was late and we had to reschedule. We needed the results asap as other doctors were waiting to proceed with their treatments. They said it’d be another two months to schedule. We couldn’t wait that long so they agreed to do a telehealth appt sooner. We logged in to check in early and realized the day before that it was in person, and we don’t live in Lexington. So we had to rush to rearrange our day in order to make it. This is on top of spending 15 mins to schedule the appointment to begin with because they kept misspelling the patient name and couldn’t find them in the system. If you can get past the awful scheduling team, it might be okay. There were two others we worked with at check in who were fine. But the scheduling girls are just terrible on top of having to be seen a second time to just get results.

Beware of this doctor. I was seeing this provider for Idiopathic Hypersomnia, he is not knowledgeable on this disorder and is very unprofessional. He verbally attacked me during an appointment where he stood over me while I was seated and began yelling in my face. When I told him my discomfort and how I have ptsd he scoffed at me. I then left the room and he aggressively followed me to the lobby. I was left in tears, very sad and traumizing situation that no one should have to experience from a medical provider. In previous appointments he was caught lying several times and fought me over my treatment the entire time. Do not go to this doctor, there are much better doctors that care about their patients and listen to their concerns, he is just not one of them.

As much as I didn’t want to have sleep apnea, the UK Sleep Disorder Center was wonderful to work with from start to finish. They addressed all my concerns, were very clear with their explanations and expressed empathy throughout the process. I highly recommend UK Sleep disorder center and their staff.
