I had an EGD and the whole staff at Deaconess Gibson Hospital were wonderful! Dr. Mahajan did a great job explaining the procedure to me prior to surgery, and all the Outpatient Surgery staff were amazing!! They called me the day after to check in on me, which I appreciated as well!
I’ve always had great experiences here until today. Here’s a little warning to those having to get lab work done. Do NOT let the young girl do your lab work unless you like being stabbed with shot! Nothing caring about that girl. When she said sorry hun, I would’ve loved to throat punch her. I’ve never had that happen anywhere or there before today. Terrible!

All of the staff and surgical team were very professional, courteous, and accommodating. Doctor Mahajan took plenty of time to explain the procedure and made sure I didn’t have any unanswered questions. I was treated with exceptional care and concern for my comfort and condition. Afterwards, the results were explained in detail. I was even called the next day to check on my condition and make sure I didn’t have any issues or other questions. Very satisfied with all aspects of my visit and procedure.
Dr Mahajan is excellent. He took time to explain my results and went over the next course we need to do. He is an exceptional doctor nd I highly recommend him if you have any GI issues.
