From day one, Dr. Fravel demonstrated not only exceptional medical expertise, but also compassion, patience, and confidence that brought reassurance during some of the most challenging moments a family can face. Every decision was explained with clarity, every concern was heard, and every step of the process reflected the highest standard of care. The nursing team and hospital staff at Nemours were nothing short of remarkable. Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication were consistently evident—day and night. They treated our child not just as a patient, but as a person, with dignity, empathy, and genuine warmth. My grandson was admitted to Nemours for a stay that lasted about two weeks, and throughout that entire time, the level of care he received was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment my family walked through the doors, we were met with kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion. Every single interaction—whether it was during morning rounds, a late-night check-in, or a quick question in the hallway—was consistently positive. The nurses were incredible. They treated my grandson not just as a patient, but as a child who needed comfort, reassurance, and patience. They explained everything clearly, checked on him often, and always made sure he felt safe and cared for. The techs, too, were wonderful—gentle, attentive, and always willing to help with even the smallest requests. What truly stood out was how every staff member, no matter their role, carried themselves with the same level of kindness and professionalism. You could tell that everyone working there genuinely loves what they do and is committed to the well-being of the children and families they serve. Their teamwork and communication were evident every day, and it gave our family tremendous peace of mind during a very stressful time. I now have two children who’ve received care from the orthopedic department at Nemours due to sports injuries, and I couldn’t be more grateful. The entire team is incredibly organized, compassionate, and welcoming—making both kids and parents feel at ease from the moment we arrive. Today I want to share an experience that truly touched my heart as a parent. I took my 4-year-old daughter to Nemours Children’s Health, and from the very moment we arrived, they made us feel right at home. At registration, we were greeted by Michael and Nancy, whose kindness and genuine smiles immediately made a difference. Their warmth and professionalism set the tone for what would become an exceptional experience. We were later seen by Dr. Smith Kaden and Dr. Mangrola Karna, two remarkable physicians whose compassion matched their medical expertise. They took the time to explain everything carefully, showing patience, empathy, and sincere care for our daughter — something every parent deeply appreciates. And then there was Johanna, who stayed by our side the entire time, translating with such gentleness and understanding. Her dedication and kindness made us feel truly supported and at ease throughout the visit. At the end of the appointment, my daughter didn’t want to leave — and that really says it all. How often does a child not want to leave a hospital? That only happens when a place radiates love, safety, and genuine care. More than just a hospital, Nemours Children’s Health is a place where compassion, excellence, and humanity come together to provide the highest standard of care for our little ones. I left with a heart full of gratitude for the entire team — for their professionalism, their warmth, and their commitment to making every family feel valued and cared for.

My 2 month old and I had to stay for 3 days because she was sick. Yuping and Rebecca in PICU (usually they’re in NICU) were so nice. Ashley and Alicia in Pediatrics were so great. In general, all the nurses and respiratory therapists, volunteers, doctors, and chaplain were so kind and helpful. They made a bad situation much easier to deal with. Amenities and rooms were beautiful and state of the art. I recommend this facility 100%.
