Took our 16 year old son In for frequent nose bleeds(everyday bleeds) the Dr at the wilkesboro office he didn't even look in my son's nose and said it was from picking it. The Dr was a snob. We also mentioned to him the PCP suggested having it caulderized the ENT said they needed to stay in their lane that he was the professional. The Dr did nothing just said to apply petroleum jelly (which we had been doing for years already) Will not be returning to WILKES ENT. Went to Carolina ENT in Hickory for a 2nd opinion 1 week later (today) immediately the Dr noticed a blood vessel that had to be caulderized, the vessel was in need of it so bad that they had to electrically caulderized 2x. Tried to chemical caulderize and that didn't work. The same day we went in for a consult, the problem was fixed and taken care of. No help or thanks to the Dr. at Wilkes ENT highly recommend Hickory Carolina ENT for all your needs.
Dr Goldhaber was very pleasant and knowledgeable! He asked questions and took the time to sit down and address my hearing issues. The staff was very welcoming and showed genuine concern. Highly recommend 😁
Staff and Dr. Goldhaber were excellent. I was worked in quickly after dealing with congestion and an ear ache for a month. Ears and nose where examined, and proper procedures taken, with a hearing test to check for hearing loss. My pain was relieved quickly, I will not wait a month next time! Everything was explained well and thoroughly.
Super nice staff still and new physician. As an adult I hoped they would remove a tonsil stone which bothers me now more than ever knowing about it from dentist. He was thorough and explained why not. He did scope my nostril, verified nothing can be done about my blaring tinnitus. I do appreciate his candor and professionalism. Although I may continue to remove the stone by gargling salt water, etc. I get a lot of infections, he felt the pocket would continue to refill, attract w bacteria. He was thorough and kind. The scope did not bother me a bit, because he was slow and gentle. Probably the best ENT visit I ever had at 70 through the years, although I did like Dr. Wilson a lot.
My 2 cents. Dr. Neil Goldhaber, the office staff, Kelly, Gwen, Kaily, Fran, and Kendal were phenomenal. I messed up the date and arrived the following day. They understood my mix-up and had me scheduled to see Dr. Goldhaber within minutes. The nurses who worked with me were efficient and informative. Dr. Goldhaber never made me feel rushed. He explained everything about my ear concern. He also prescribed the medication as well as follow-up as needed. This was my first experience at this office, and I would not hesitate to return if needed. I also shared Dr. Goldhaber's business card and an overview of my visit with my co-workers. 5 stars and 100% satisfied with everything about the Dr. and his team. I am glad they are in Wilkes.
