The staff in oncology radiation is the best group of nurses and doctors I’ve ever met they treat patients like they are the only patient they have great respect for them
Everyone was awesome ,except one doctor that gave me medicine that I was not suppose to have and he admited he gave it to me and showin he didnt care by shrugging his shoulders, oh and he was told not to give me this medicine it causes adverse reaction in me .other than that all other nurses and doctors went above and beyond. i want to add that my nurse Morgan in icu was the sweetest , all nurses were lovely
Everyone in every department I've been involved with has been so kind. I can ask anyone for help and be treated warmly. All the care I've gotten during visits and procedures has been amazing, top-tier bedside manners. Even when I've been lost, late to my appointment trying to figure out which building or room to go, I have been helped and seen by everyone in my path, and my appointments go smoothly. I've been working with Clayton Morgan specifically, and he has been terrific. I am a young person with complicated symptoms, and he really tries to get to the bottom of my health without leaving me with questions. He is very knowledgeable in his work. This is an invaluable level of care that I would recommend to anyone, near or far.
7 hrs and 40 minutes in the ED. Busy, but appeared very disorganized. No one explained why any thing was ordered except EKG and 'labs'. Again, labs and CT scan of chest ordered. Nurse Practitioner answered a few questions concerning the CT Scan. No one asked how I felt or if I needed anything. A nice lady did offer me a blanket. Due to the lack of proper professional uniforms, everyone was not identified and name tags were turned around or obscured in some fashion. Tip: Staff should introduce self and explain Procedures. Also. up grade to professional attire (not T-Shirts)!
The Radiation/Oncology Department is outstanding. Dr. Marcus Brown and the entire team are caring, friendly, efficient, and courteous. I will complete my 28 Radiation treatments on August 14th and I am looking forward to ringing the bell tomorrow! I highly recommend this team and Clinch Valley Health.
