Took my 1 year old in the ER because he had a horrible cough and could barely breathe. The nurse Said he waS congested then the doctor (Gladish) comes in and he said he sounded good. Gave him tests and nothing else. Was sent home with no answers whatsoever. So I took my son to Jasper hospital the following morning and they gave him a chest x-ray. A steroid for CROUP. I don't see how Washington hospital is still open. They used to be a spectacular hospital years ago. I was even born there. Night shift ER is a joke! Several years ago they even told me that my seizures were "pseudo seizures " which are fake seizures. 10 years later here I am with so called "fake seizures ". Get real!!!

Recently had arthroscopic knee surgery at DCH. I was treated first class from the moment I walked into admitting, until the moment I left the hospital grounds. My nurse in Same Day Surgery, Michelle, was an incredible nurse and person, and made me feel at home the entire time I was there. All of the staff in Same Day Surgery went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and painless. Jennifer and Leigh in surgery were also AMAZING nurses. Cannot say enough good things about my entire experience. Highly recommend this facility!

A workers’ compensation determination case turned downright malevolent. I’m only providing one highlight from a series of events to give perspective to those they’re interested in, to help those being seen by currently or previously seen, & future clients of yours truly Davies’s Community Hospital. Being injured and over or under medicated can make it difficult just wanting to get it over and behind you. The Daviess Community Hospital W.C. Case doctor gives Discretionary ambiguous restrictions and alters them without properly examining your healing progress. The diagnosis is a mediocre “guestimate”, my shoulder was out of place for almost 3 weeks before the PT had me on my back and I tested and yelped as a loud pop noise had just made a realization they missed a dislocated shoulder I’d been complaining about and missed on the W.C. Case initial examination, the only one Xray taken which showed the slumped shoulder, my initial Daviess Community Hospital PT consultation focused mostly on the obscurity of the doctors notes so 3 weeks after my shoulder was reset the ending determination of my shoulder was 75% neck 90% back 80% neck, shoulder, & back my overall mobility after 6 months of PT was concluded that 75% was as much as I was going to heal. Had my shoulder been set sooner I might have had 85% overall the damage was done. With work a W.C. Case automatically isolates you know no matter whose at fault this doctor gave me below the bare minimum. the bigger picture that you matter and you have someone in your corner, Danks & Danks will help guid you through the process as it’s easy to become overwhelmed and become isolated as more than half who’ve been able to return to work while injured are under or over medicated, pressured into decision making under W.C. I went into the E.R. for severe abdominal pain this past Monday. I had to have emergency surgery to have my appendix removed. The nurses and staff were so kind. The male E.R. nurse I had was so kind and patient. I was happy he was the nurse. HE helped me to be less worried. The staff on the same day surgery unit were nice. They were often checking on me and asking me if I needed anything. I KINDA didn't want to leave. Thanks to all the staff. Each of you were amazing. That was my first experience staying in a hospital. All the staff helped to make me comfortable. THE DR. and the staff during surgery were the best. They explained everything to me and they were comforting. Thanks again DCH staff.
