I was seen in a fairly quick manner when I got there. It was the middle of the night as I was there for an overnight study, so as soon as I arrived, they were practically ready for me. I was shown to my room quickly, and I had plenty of time to unwind and play my games while I waited. When it come did come time to attach all of the various wires, it did not take as long as they had told me ahead of time that it would! Thankfully, I didn't feel creeped out knowing they were watching me sleep, and while it did take me awhile to fall asleep, I chalked that up to having gone to bed much later the night before. Whenever I woke up needing to pee, the technician was quick and prompt in assisting me! I have since received my results and it's great to finally know some answers!
I was completely at ease and very comfortable during my sleep study. My technician was very nice with a great sense of humor. She helped to make me feel very comfortable and I slept like a baby. She also explained everything to me in detail leaving me with no questions to ask. My room and bathroom was very clean with fresh blean linen. I highly recommend this place for a sleep study.
I had a good experience! My technician was very kind and personable. She answered all my questions. This was my first sleep Study in Pinehurst. My previous sleep Study was done in Fayetteville where I live. Apparently that is no longer an option. Driving to Pinehurst late at night was a little nerve-racking.
I was seen in a timely manner. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The check in process was good. I had a boot on from a recent ankle fracture so she made it as comfortable as possible for me which I appreciated. During the night I tried to call for the technician to help me adjust my mask and to ask her for some water, but I wasn’t heard. There was too much noise in the hallway until 11.30pm. I thought the technician was going to wake me up through the speaker but right at 530am she turned on the bright lights and started taking stuff off as if she was in a hurry to leave. I was startled. I had to protect my ankle because I felt she was going to accidentally hit it while taking the leads off of me. I felt rushed out, mind you my mobility was slower than normal from the broken ankle.
This was my 6th sleep study over the past 26 years, and it was by far the best in terms of the room provided and how I was treated. The room was clean and comfortable and I could set the temperature myself. It was quiet and dark. My sleep tech, Heather, did a great job making me feel comfortable; she explained everything and answered all my questions. A very good experience, and kudos to Heather!!
