Very disrespectful staff. They misdiagnosed my son with asthma because they proceeded with the test even though my son clearly didn't understand the instructions given and wasn't doing it properly. The tech wouldn't allow me to help my son better understand so the test could be performed properly. They've set up appointments behind my back and then scolded me when they were missed saying that I confirmed them when I didn't. They confirmed them with the emergency contact who didn't inform me. Why they're calling the emergency contact for non-emergency reasons is beyond me. Will not be coming back.
Would give a 0 star if I could. DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY. If you want your personal and medical information to stay between you and your medical provider, this is not the place for you. Be prepared to have your vitals and medical history collected in a hallway next to other who are waiting for tests. Watch your toes during this portion of your waiting period as you might be in the direct path of EMTs accessing the facility with other patients from the rear of the building. Additionally, make sure to bring something to fully occupy your time as you may feel that you have been fully forgotten multiple times. This is quite possibly the worst medical facility I have ever been to. I was wary on the phone when they kept trying to add 50 years to my age during the initial scheduling of my appointment, but I am shocked at truly how poor my experience was.
I truly hate having to come to this place. The building on the inside feels old & worn out. The decor is depressing with scuff marks & tears on the walls. God forbid you have to do an overnight like I had to. I waited almost 2 hours before the “tech” got me readied with the sensors. Bedside manner was inconsistent (moody to pleasant). Until now, I’ve never had someone just come at my face with alcohol swabs & no warning or heads-up (she had me sit faced away from her) about what she’s doing or about to do. When the morning came & I was disconnected from the sensors, I wasn’t given anything to wipe all the gunk she used to connect the sensors off my face & head. When I finally got to a mirror at home, I could see the gunk was everywhere. I went home & showered only to discover that she left one of the sensors on my back. To top it off, she reeked of cigarettes and I had to hold my breath anytime she came near. The only saving grace of this place is the bedside manner of the nurses and doctors during the day. The rest really needs an overhaul.
Terrible office staff and quite disorganized. Long wait time in a dirty waiting area, then another wait when you get to a room. Scheduling and sign-in is a joke. They pay no attention to when you sign-in at the appointed time; they will call people who have signed in after you did. Dr. is rude, that is if you even see her. Avoid this place like the plague; you might get the plague form the waiting room.
While I appreciate the providers and the sleep study techs that work here there are some serious scheduling issues. Waiting for more than 30 minutes before even entering a room is absurd. Then you have to wait three same amount again before seeing the providers. This is unacceptable. Do not over schedule patients and treat our time like it doesn't matter. At least acknowledge the long wait times and apologize. I will not be using this office in the future as I will save time by driving to Tyler, Houston or Shreveport and not having to wait for so long.
