I had a great experience at Space Coast Sleep Disorder Center in Melbourne. The facility was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was professional, kind, and welcoming. Everything was explained clearly, appointments were well organized, and I felt truly cared for throughout the entire process. You can tell they genuinely prioritize patient comfort and quality care. I had a really wonderful experience at the facility. My tech, Taylor, was delightful and made me feel at ease. The facility was warm and inviting and the beds and bedding were comfortable. I have three children whom all had sleep studies, so I am very familiar with sleep studies. I have had numerous friends tell me stories of seriously less than pleasant experiences at other facilities. My experience with Space Coast Sleep Disorders was exceptionally positive and I will refer anyone I know who needs an in person study to the facility.

The rooms have thin walls and I could hear everything going on in rooms next to my own, even whispers. They need to put up something, anything to dampen the sound. It's already hard enough to try to fall asleep within 20 wires strapped on. Bathroom was clean but toilet was not bolted down well and it rocked back and forth...which is a bit of a shock when it's 2:30 AM and you sit on it. I thought the staff was nice but they seemed stressed and it felt like they were rushing. I didn't think it was their fault and I believe they were trying hard. When I requested a copy of my own medical records two separate times they refused. The explanation I was given was that doctors have yelled at them in the past so now they don't give patients their own medical information as a policy for their company.
The one star is for the employee, Taylor, who deserves five stars. Otherwise, the bed and pillows were bad and I didn't even get a report after having to request it. I did get an additional $28 invoice after the fact. No report, no help. Complete waste of $708.
