I have never been to a Doctor who could make a diagnosis without an exam yet that is the first thing that happened on the initial visit. I underwent the home study and confirmed his diagnosis of sleep apena. He told me that I would fail the cpap machine before it was even tried. Either this is the most brilliant Doctor in the world or it is a cash grab. Do yourself a favor and find someone else.
For 2 years I've been trying to get back on my meds for narcolepsy. I was referred to this lovely establishment by my newest primary doctor. I called and verified they would be able to prescribe my particular medicine before scheduling my appointment, so I don't have to keep paying for doctors that can't do what I need. I was told yes, Dr. Cancel can. I've already gone through a sleep study; and narcolepsy doesn't just magically go away. My dad and sister have it as well, so it's in my family's medical history going back something like 30+ years. The doctor refused to prescribe medication and insisted that I need to go through another sleep study. Nothing like a money grab and unnecessary nonsense. The doctor's name is fitting, he should be cancelled from everyone's list of who to see. The medical industry in the state of Florida is an absolute joke.
Both Dr. Soto and the respiratory therapist Sarah have been very helpful in my treatment. Sarah the respiratory therapist went above and beyond making me feel comfortable during an uncomfortable test and treated me so kind during one of my appt there. She is terrific!
