Well the sleep test itself sucked, obviously. But my nurse was great, very sweet. Things i wish i would have known before taking the test: The rooms have bathroom AND a shower. I was not expecting the shower or to need one but the adhesive was sticky in my hair the next day so i wish i would have brought shampoo, which they have as well as towels, but i like my own. It takes the nurse about 30 min to hook you all up, which is fine, just nice to know. They will wake you at 6am the next morning if you’re not already awake. The room has a TV. Hard to sleep with the hook ups but maybe do some activities day of to help you sleep better!
Dr Liu and sleep study staff themselves were wonderful. I have a severe apnea..will be having a 2nd study..a PAP study and also see if I am a candidate for an implant
Laughably bad experience. At least in my experience with them, they’re only here to order sleep tests and offer medications. I had already had both and they were no help. Any time you communicate with them - even if you’re responding to their outreach - they take at least 2 business days to respond. They offered a sleep psychologist, but they had nothing available for at least 3 months.
This is the worst sleep clinic I’ve ever dealt with. After seeing the dr a few months ago the staff submitted paperwork to my old clinic to get my last sleep study info. They gave absolutely no updates and only tried to contact the other clinic after I pushed. It’s been over 2mo and still nothing. I have had sleep apnea for almost 10yrs. I just need supplies and have to pay out of pocket until this gets resolved. I could have just done another sleep study but they had assured me that they got in contact with my last clinic. It shouldn’t take me messaging them constantly to get information on what the status of my records are.
At least some of the Office staff do not know their own policies or are confused on them. I tried to go in for my first appointment. Already diagnosed and needed a new doctor. Was running late this morning and told it was fine. Get into the office about 20 minutes late. The receptionist at first says it is fine and we spend some time checking in and paying. The card machine is wonky so it took extra time. When payment and check in were done it was 9:30 according to the wall clock. 9:24 according to their computers and my phone. She said she had to check with the doctor to see if I could even be seen. Less than a minute later the receptionist told me the doctor said NO. My chart was also confused with another the day before and I was called and given misinformation about my appointment time. It didn't match with my text messages reminding me but I was assured of the changes. The doctor may be great but I have no idea. I drove over and hour for speciality care I desperately need and charged. It was not made clear if the charge would remain as a "cancellation and no show fee." I understand the system is a mess and everyone is overworked and burned out. I understand if I had gotten there early it might have been fine. Sick people take longer to get places without help and traffic happens especially on bad weather days. If an office is going to be this strict with the late show window they need to tell patients and not give them misinformation.
