Please DO NOT waste your time with this office, particularly Dr Ettinger or the NP. Run, don’t walk, away from this office. You will receive ZERO help for sleep issues and will be sorely let down. I have never been so dismissed and completely ignored by a specialist and they have no business seeing patients ever. If I could give negative stars, I would.
LIARS! Said don't worry we checked & your insurance pays for everything- you won't have a bill! Now they have sent me a bill for $798.96! I repeatedly asked them and they they repeatedly LIED!
Was able to see and discuss my issues with a physician. The recommended home sleep study was arranged without difficulty. I was made aware of the results and appropriate treatment was recommended. All my questions and concerns have been addressed. Oh, and I feel much better, too! Recommend
A few months ago, I visited St. Luke's Sleep Center due to a snoring problem. The doctor recommended a sleep test, offering two options: staying overnight at their medical facility or taking a device home and returning it the next morning. Knowing that an overnight stay would be expensive and not covered by my insurance, I chose the take-home device. I inquired about the cost and potential insurance coverage, but they couldn't provide any estimates. Assuming the device wouldn't cost more than $300-$400, I proceeded with the home test. After returning the device and receiving my results, which fortunately indicated no major issues, I awaited the bill. When it arrived, I was shocked to see a charge of $1,200. Confused, I contacted them, pointing out that I hadn't stayed overnight. They insisted that taking the device home was equivalent to using their facility. Feeling helpless, I researched and found that similar devices, including medical recommendations, were available for $200-$300. I informed St. Luke's that I wouldn't have taken the test had I known the cost, but they were unresponsive. Seeking financial assistance also proved difficult. Disappointed, I had to set up a nine-month payment plan. This is my first negative review but I feel like I have the opportunity to share my experience with others.
Had a positive experience here, they were able to accommodate with a pediatric enclosed crib [my son has ASD & he's an eloper]. The room had a home like feel, and did not resemble a hospital which I believe played a role in my son actually sleeping the whole night. Technician Eric was fantastic and assisted with carrying bags out to the car, and very friendly. Definitely will recommend to others!
