There getting one star cause I have to give them one.. this place has the worst staff I've ever seen from a doctors office. I went to get replacement supplies for cpap that they were supposed to order over 2 weeks ago, I called over a week ago and they never returned my phone call. I drove there today just to learn my supplies were never ordered and now they are back ordered. I doubt I will even get a call if they do come in.
Trust the negative reviews, it’s been a nightmare trying to get the doctor to actually do anything other than brag about his patents. I have been trying to get a CPAP for my son for months, now they say it’s been too long and they need him to come in for another appointment. Avoid this place if at all possible.
Dr. Ghuge is absolutely amazing. I knew going in that there was a big possibility that I would require a pap machine or oral appliance. Dr. Ghuge took his time and went into depth with me over everything. All of his staff have been welcoming and kind.
If you're actually looking for help with your sleep, then avoid this place at all costs! I do not say this lightly and please take heed to all of these reviews. I wish I had seen these before I came here. But this is where we were referred to go. The only reason we went here is because he's supposedly the only one who will see children in Tyler. Not true! This is one of the most poorly run doctors' offices I've ever encountered. I've never been so frustrated on a consistent basis after being there for almost a year. Apparently I'm incredibly long suffering. Every single encounter and visit has been disappointing and aggravating. Dr. Ghuge blames everything on his computers, either not working or working slowly. Incredibly poor time management/ scheduling. Some of the staff are nice, but incredibly incompetent. Everything takes forever to get scheduled or to get sleep supplies or to actually get seen when you show up for your appointment. There is no ownership whatsoever. I once showed up to a schedule appointment to pick up supplies because they were supposed to be ready and waited half an hour for them to tell me they didn't have it all. He also told me I needed a new bipap machine because he claimed my previous one was recalled. Turns out it wasn't. They also supposedly couldn't order it for me and use my insurance and to just order it and get reimbursed by our insurance company. 7 months later, we are still waiting to get reimbursed for an $1800 machine I didn't need. He claimed I needed to be on a bipap instead of the A-pap I was one. The entire 6 months I used this new machine he told me I needed, my AHI went from mostly normal (under 5) to 10-28 (mild and moderate sleep apnea) every single night. When I told him about this, he basically gaslit me and said the number didn't matter so much. So it's fine to use to diagnose me with sleep apnea but that's it? I went to a different sleep dr this summer who tweaked my machine and I'm now experiencing a normal AHI consistently every night again! This dr actually listened and cared and didn't try to sell me on a new device. Please consider this a cautionary tale and avoid this business unless you're a glutton for punishment.
The office staff are great. The doctor is the 1 star. He refuses to refill prescriptions in a timely manner. I'm talking 7 days on average. His excuse is that he doesn't have to by law for 5 business days. I go through this every time I renew my script every 3 months. He has told me that he is so busy running another company besides his patients. He can't find good help. I know his staff is trying, but the doctor himself has to approve the refills. Do yourselves a favor and find a different specialist. I am.
