The care of service you receive from the nurses and patient care techs at this hospital, is great. The Doctors that work at this facility, is the reason for the 1-star review. After being admitted to the hospital for a viral infection, the hospital decided an overnight stay was needed. It’s been over 24 hours since I’ve seen or spoke to a doctor. After speaking with the patient care tech, the doctors have hospital wide meetings that affect the attention they give to patients? Just a thought, maybe you should focus your efforts on patient care. No communication, no patient care plan, nothing. Just hopefully you get to see them on their rounds, or they get too busy to see you. I’d recommend Community South over Johnson Memorial.

Had a bad experience at Johnson County on a late Thursday night into Friday morning between 3:00 and 5:00 a.m. to young girls there with I guess an acting doctor physician stay for two or three hours at severe pain in my jaw No Physical Examination told him I had a root canal done,Etc . Do your abscess infection,.. in the emergency room I thought they would give me better service at least a painkiller took him a half hour 45 minutes of getting a Needle in my jaw, came back 15 minutes later , insert a needle with whatever they put in the liquid but, Not like they do in Dentist office. So come in three times just to give a little dose in my jaw each time and drug it out almost an hour..... I got No Relief just kept playing with it. I left, less than three or four weeks ago I got a bill for $2,000 insurance covered everything but my $100 Emergency Room Fee ....What a big joke..!!! Got on their website send a note about my service issues never got a response by their hospital staff or whoever posted check in with Customers Complaints!!!! This is what happens in society when companies get so rich and big-headed they Don't Care about Consumer's All they care about is Money 💰💰💰💰 Terrible Service As A Local Hospital!!!!!!!

Very disappointed in this hospital. I drove for 40 miles to go to this hospital hoping I would get better care than a city hospital for my neck pain because of DDD and Dr. Smith wouldn’t do any testing and just gave me a torodol shot that did not help at all and sent me on my way. He did not even look at my neck and only touched the right side which I told him it was left and I literally had to correct him because he thought he was touching the left side?!?!? Like what? Now I have a huge bill and no relief. Oh yeah not to mention I had to ask for pain medication (non-narcotic) that they NEVER sent over but argued with me that they did. For any other business, if you do not provide the service you don’t pay but for hospitals, they can treat you like this and you still have to pay them. It’s really disappointing and I am still laying here in bed in agony. Thanks a lot Johnson Memorial Hospital. Little did you know I wasn’t a drug seeker I am a hard-working woman that has a lot of bills to pay and I have no idea how I’m gonna do that and you guys just added one more onto me. Just because a hospital is brand new and beautiful, does not mean that you’re gonna get the care that you need.

I was well taken care of by all the staff and surgery was schedule pronto after arriving at the hospital. Dr Boyer put my mind at ease explaining what he would be doing during my surgery. All went well including with my follow up appointment.

Usually I got good care through the ER. Lately, however I feel the quality of care they've given has declined. They aren't doing right by me and in fact are not helping me and supporting me the way they should be and treating me different then any other patient. They are not listing to me and prejudging me and making me feel like they don't care and accusing me of seeking when I never even opened my mouth and bringing up the care plan the minute they walk in the room. Refusing me meds they should give and treating me different.
