I feel as though Dr. Carr really overstepped certain boundaries regarding my child and her school attendance today. I felt very uncomfortable and even had to ask that problems not be created where problems do not exist. I also felt lectured about my child's diet. Overall very bad vibes. I will not bring my child back, especially since her regular pediatrician does not have an issue with my child's growth. The blatant medical gaslighting towards my own medical issues and history also angered me. This doctor knows nothing of me or my medical history to make the statements that were directed towards

I typically visit this clinic for lab and immunizations because it's much closer than my primary doctor's office. The staff is always very accommodating, friendly and welcoming. However, I came in today to receive a follow up immunization. Upon signing in, I was told rather harshly to "go between the double doors". I said, "Well I don't have an appointment." The employee then responded with, "Well what are you here for?" Wow! I tried to explain and she said come around where it's easier to hear. We sat down and after what seemed like forever, she stated that I wasn't able to receive my immunization because it showed that I've never been there. Even after I had given her my name and date of birth and even my phone with my insurance information, which I had mentioned several times that it should be available via MyChart. I had to log into my MyChart and literally hand her the phone to prove to her that I've been there several times. She said well do you have a sister or something? No ma'am I don't. Well I typed in your last name and date of birth. I said well did you see the first name? After proving I was just there a month ago today, she said well normally we don't do immunizations. It has to be in your doctor's office. I replied with ma'am, I've never had any issues until today. It's always been my experience that as long as it's within a Christus Clinic. I'm not sure if she was having a rough day, unfamiliar with the computer program and needed more training, or just needed a Snickers candy bar. But this was a very draining, very unnecessary and time consuming odd interaction. She did apologize, but all of this could've been avoided. I was seconds away from asking another employee for help. Last month I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I spent about that much time waiting for her to sort things out on her end. I didn't catch her name, but she was middle aged with red framed glasses with white arms that went over the ears. I still love this clinic, but I hope to have a more pleasurable exchange in the future. Sidebar: The one who administered the vaccine was excellent 🙂

Cheryl Henderson is amazing she has treated me for years, she is just amazing with listen to me about some very difficult medical difficulties and we figure out away through it! If they had a staff that strived to be the care team their patients need.... would be amazing unfortunately they do not, I will wait for her unless it's critical...

Absolutely the worst. Constantly dragging people thru the mud, they lie, and are inconsiderate. Every time my husband has to go there, it’s a process and we normally end up leaving mad or he’s having to go to the emergency room because they want to take their time. Meanwhile my husband is having panic attacks, he’s almost had a stroke before because they take forever to fill medications or to even see you!!! Would not recommend this awful place to anyone, we will be filing a complaint against this specific establishment and find another doctor for my husband
